Myra Panache co-signs Sandra Rose
Yesterday I told you that the IRS may be looking into that $1 million birthday gift Lil’ Wayne received from his mentor/daddy Birdman, aka Baby.
Well, Myra Panache agreed with us:
Sandra Rose was right when she reported that the IRS would be inquiring about the $1 million dollars in cash (above) that rapper Lil Wayne received from Baby during his birthday celebration. IRS officials are reportedly not only looking into this but they are also investigating celebrities who don’t report club appearance fees that can range from $1,500-$10,000 per night.
What Lil’ Wayne probably doesn’t know yet is that a cash gift over a certain dollar amount is considered taxable income.
So if Weezy is in the 30% tax bracket, he owes the IRS at least $300,000 in taxes on that “gift”.
Will Uncle Sam come knocking on Weezy’s door for his share of Weezy’s million-dollar “gift”? As Sarah Palin would say, you bet’cha! 
I wouldn’t be surprised if Weezy claims this was all a publicity stunt and the money went back to it’s rightful owner.
Remember when Oprah gave away those cars on her show? Well, the audience members ended up owing the IRS $6,000 in taxes on each car. Those audience members who couldn’t afford to pay the taxes were forced to sell their cars.
Oprah, who lost touch with reality a long time ago, assumed that her audience members were affluent enough to afford the taxes. Bless her heart.
Oh, and that cash you see rappers stacking in music videos and movies is fake. The US Gov. doesn’t allow real money to be photographed or filmed.

Dang, Why they got to have a peice of everything, I hate that the picture is up on the net. they need to handle everything else that’s going on and leave this man alone. It’s a birthday gift. and I know about the taxes and everything but still we can’t have nothing without somebody’s hand out. gotta have a peice.
The only money not taxed is the one who recieves “child support &/or alimony. The one who give/gets garnished can use it as a deduction. Uncle Sam wants his money. Sandra said:

I doubt very seriously that Wayne is in the 30% tax bracket. No doubt he is closer to 50%. Anyway, why would the IRS be investigating him? He just got the dang money. As for concert appearances, Wayne never shows up for those anyway, so maybe he’s safe in that regard.

No millionaire with any common sense puts a million dollars in the bank.. What if the bank went out of business? Bush just signed a new law that raised the FDIC cap on deposits to $250,000. That means if you have a million dollars in the bank and that bank goes out of business, you’re out $750,000. That’s why millionaires have multiple bank accounts or off shore accounts.

You knew what my point was Sandra, and it definitely was not the process of banking in detail. If it had been a gift you recieved from Rhianna maybe you would understand how f*cked up it is for everybody to have their hands in your money, and not to mention the proceeds are going towards a 700 billion dollar bail out, that didn’t include anything helpful to the tax payers who are still living without enough means to take care of their families. wayne recieved it as a gift so its not taxable to him its taxable to baby because he gave a gift in excess of 12gs. how do i know? i do taxes for a living so even with the oprah people the taxes where the taxes for recieving a new car which have to be paid on any car and the cars that they recived im sure the taxes couldnt have been 6gs unless they was rolling in 70 thousand cars which they where not
