I agree with the article — Beyonce is a good entertainer, but an actress she’s NOT. This is a star-making role that should go to a deserving and talented actress. BUT unfortunately due to the short-sidedness of Hollywood, the role has been offered to a musical artist instead of a trained and technically skilled actor. Hollywood seems to think that musical artists can easily transition from music to acting and that just ain’t the case except in rare, rare occasions. And, Beyonce’s name is not part of the list of musical artists who have gone on to successful movie careers.
