The Republicans are trying to do a big spin job.

Biden didn't say anything that was against Obama or wrong. Regardless of who is in office, the next 6 months is going to be hard, especially if they are trying to clean up the mess instead of further mucking it up. I'd rather go 6 months with Obama than McCain any day.

Biden was basically saying that we can't just watch Obama like he's our new favorite tv show; instead we need to step up and do our part to support him and support this nation.

But of course, Faux News and the Republithugs have to spin a real comment. Yeesh! They make America look worse than it is!

Just wanted to add another tid bit directly from Fox News website

My colleague Catherine Herridge reported today something that shouldn’t have surprised me, but in fact did. And my surprise quickly turned to concern: Catherine reported on some online chatter from Islamic Web sites that has been intercepted and translated. Their conclusion: Al Qaeda is avidly following the US presidential race with an eye to its next attack.

The intelligence officials with whom Catherine talked told her that no matter which candidate becomes our 44th president, he will be dealing with an unrelenting desire by Al Qaeda to strike the US, as it did in 2001. One of its communiqués says the following about the coming month: “At that time the collapse will happen quickly and … then after the blow by Al Qaeda, God Willing, the United States will begin to disintegrate.”

The terrorists watching us from afar don’t get to vote, and they’ll keep trying to hit us no matter who’s in the White House. That doesn’t surprise me. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have their preferences. And knowing that is what concerns me.

i heard about this on AM Radio yesterday moring while driving. i was stunned at first, but as with all things media, i'm sure we didn't get to hear the entire remark, or conversation. this was merely a snippet....

i'd love to see obama in the white house, but even still, he has an agenda that he must stick to. he can't just NOT get in there and do what he wants, so people need to simmer down.

aside from all that, what's supposed to happen in this world, is going to happen. obama and nobody will be able to stop that.

Charles,
I'm curious as to what policies McCain has laid out that has you so supportive of him. I've listened to both candidates and their proposals for our country. I'm not sold yet, so what has McCain said that makes you a sure supporter?

We all agree the state of our country needs a change, because the present administration isn't cutting it. Besides everyone running scared about wars and McCain "savior" experience, what else is he offering for our country that warrants support?
