The Iraq war and/or any war is tragic for that matter. The true gift of success of war is not the victory of war but are the goals of the war been accomplished and succesful. Violence is low in the region but we still have to ask our selves is Iraq any stabler in it's process to develop a better government and sound infastructure. If it's not, do we stay longer? People have their opinions about this war and wars in general. As we know all know opinions are like assholes though everyone has one. I have two friends and a family member that did there tours of in Iraq I and Iraq II. I appresciate them and all the other service men that fight to keep us safe, free, and progressive in the United States. Here's my problem though. The fact is that we are the United States of America and we are not the United States of America and Iraq. The Iraqis have asked for a time table and we should adhear to it. Many lives have been lost and it seems the only beneficiary is going to be all of the U.S. private companies that are going to make the profit off U.S. soldiers and innocent Iraqi civilians. Wanted: Osama Bin Laden. Sucks to here that,huh? Because through all these lives lost still the greatest criminal of our time is still out there. So, if the bow breaks again is it our duty to go back and liberate the people of Iraq again? I would say no. Pretty much it would be yes though. The reality it would be in our best interest because if any out breaks in the Middle East threaten our security and security of the free world, it is our duty to react vastly and swiftly to those threats.
