Tonight Fox News takes us on a grand tour of the very Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s fancy new digs at an exclusive gated community in a suburb of Chicago.
When completed, the mansion will feature Greek columns, 4 garages, a golf course, Olympic size swimming pool, and more.

I heard he got the new crib as part of a retirement package, mostly to shut him up while Obama continuted to run for President. I think I would have shut the hell up too. LOL.

Of course they will try to tie Obama to this. I heard about the house a few months ago and it’s suppose to be legit from the church he pastered for over 20 yrs. This is just one of the perks for retiring.
Okay…I’m not exactly sure why this is important! Who cares about his house, unless you’re going to tell me that Barack purchased the house for Mr. Wright with campaign money stolen from John McCain’s campaign fund, I don’t see how this bullish is even relevant! Maybe John McCain is holding swinger parties in the basement of this house….now that would be news (blog) worthy!

IF Sandra thinks this home has anything to do with Obama, then it is time for her to visit Chicago. Wright’s church like many others in Chicago holds thousands of people and yes the congregation is that large too. This may be a parsonage owned by the church with Wright as a tenant. Whatever the case, being the 3rd largest city in the US, Chicago has MANY large homes, so no need to make a big deal out of this one. Move one Ms. Rose, nexxxxxxxxxxxxxt
This brand new home makes me think that the rumors that Wright was paid by the GOP to say those off the wall statements in an attempt to malign Obama.
For the “real” record, Fox news has been trying to make a story out of this non-story for quite some time, ever since the Rev. Wright made up controversy was introduced. As I understand it, the house has been under construction since the Rev. stepped down from the pulpit, paid for by his retirement salary and gifts received from the congregation he pastored for more than 20 years. He also received quite a bit of money from speaking engagements and books he has written, and there has been no impropriety found in the funding of the Rev.s new home. Fox News has been stuck on this, trying their best to enrage people-but they have not been able to come up with anything except to question the fact of whether a pastor could and should purchase a $4 mil pad. I say with all the work he has done, if he has earned the money he can live where he wants. I cannot believe we are living in a time of journalism where the minute a person makes the news for any story, his entire life and business dealings become fodder for months on end, end the end being totally irrelevant. They do this, but cannot understand why MSM want to find out more about Joe the Plumber, and I disagreed with how that was handled too. Since when can’t a man ask a hypothetical question without the fact that he owes back taxes becoming an issue. This is not what I learned in journalism 101, and I think it’s time we stop invading folks privacy and stick to the issues at hand. I know much more about Joe and Rev. Wright’s new home than I ever have cared to know, and not enough about how our banking system has become a socialist institution, the facy that my 401K has dropped neary $8000 in 1 months time, why banks bailed out with our money are still paying CEO bonuses over $270 mil even though they failed at their jobs and are being paid with our money, why banks are still offering ARM mortgages with the proof that they now have that this practice should be illegal…I could go on forever. They make the stories and we buy the stuff they are selling. As a smalltime BS journalist, I urge you to email your news stations when you see these kinds of stories and beg for something more substantive. Human intrest stories are one thing, but the only ones intrested in these repetitive unworthy are slanted bias news media outlets. Protest people! (Cuse any typos-when I get heated my fingers go faster than my mind).
