Sandra is English she don’t not think the same as us does (lol).

English are more mild mannered and thug life in England is more covered up than in the US. They drink Tea at high noon. The US is run by thugs so its full of thugs. I understand the message she is trying to deliver which is true to the core. Stop accepting this type of mentality and behavior from our African American men. Its time to make a change black men cannot stay the same forever. Black women cannot continue to support the bad-thug type of behavior. Black women need to make a change as well or they will be lonely and continue to accept anyone who shows interest (even a hardened criminal). We can only be accountable for our own actions and if you want to rid yourself of the Bad-thug you must also rid yourself of the bad-thug within. Many women who date bad-thugs are bad-thugs too. Some people have a ghetto mentality and some don’t but in every person who came from the hood there is always an underline ghetto in them. Its suppressed but it is still there. The middle and upper class women are curios to see what the fuss is about this bad guy. They do it for excitement but when they get caught up in the end… Fun over…

Men are seen as protectors and who has the most masculine of qualities outside of a bad-thug. Only thing the protect and serve you’re a** a beat down.

My advice: try them all out until you meet the right one but definately cut them loose at the first sign of trouble, before feelings are attached. Not all rough neck ex cons are bad guys. Some of them do learn their lesson. My brother is that man. I wouldn’t put his business in the street, but he was featured in Essence magazine a couple of months ago on this very topic. He is an ex con with 7 years in the pen under his belt, but he is also a college educated sweatheart of a handsome devil with a good job. Ain’t nobody passing that up on the strength of a couple of pesky convictions in his past. Contrary to the tone of the article in Essence, my brother has no problem getting women and he shouldn’t.

This article is the most useless waste of space I have come across on the net all month. I’m starting to believe that Sandra Rose hates black folks or something. Most points descibed should refer to ALL MEN, not just black ones. I just can’t believe how I’ve been thugging it up these past few days. I’ve had some serious road rage,I was speeding on the expressway this morning,and last night I hung out with my unemployed homegirl and finished off a bottle of wine with our baggy t-shirts and jogging pants on. Much thanks to the author of this post for identifying my messed up ways.

There a different levels to thuggery. Homo-thug, fake-thug, real-thug, thug-withaheart, reformed-thug, ex-thug, criminal-thug, sweet-thug, nice-thug and baby-thug.

Who knew there were so many variations of Thugs.

Sorry for the outburst. But I’m just sick of the negative post on black men and women. Is it so hard to post something positive about Our race. Is it?

Did anyone read Pepa from Salt n Pepa book. She talks a lot about loving thugs and how she overcame it. Why don’t post go up on how to overcome these situations or a link for women who are in abused relationships. Stop pointing the finger and lend a hand..

PS Faiths book is way better than Pep. Pep your book was all over the place.
