Mother of Hudson Murder Suspect Goes Off on Nancy Grace

I understand a mother defending her son with her last breath. But the mother of Hudson family murder “person of interest” William Balfour, went in on Nancy Grace last night and got shut the **** down!

This boy is too old to be defended by his mom. Of all the shows for her to be on why would she choose Nancy Grace?

Nancy Grace does not play. Almost 2 yrs ago there was a woman on the show with a missing child. Nancy ripped her a new one. The mom later committed suicide and we still don’t know where the little boy is.

    Boy O Boy…
I don’t know but up until after hearing that Jason(deceased) was selling drugs outta the house..
Oh so could it be that reason everybody’s dead. Boy it’s a matter of time before it all falls down. I could be wrong….This doesn’t sound like a mother depending her son by any means(this sounds like a mother how is trying to trying to sure you what really is not being said).
Nancy Grace need to watch her tone (she should be the last person to talk, all that Anna Nicole mess).

I saw this sh!t too. I disagree, Nancy Grace put her in her place. That mother needs to open her eyes and realize the son she has. Did anybody see the part where his own mother isn’t sure about his albi (sp?). She should’ve just shut her mouth.

I know violence is not the answer but i really want to slap the sh1t out of his mother. I listened to her illiterate ass and she’s a disgrace. I think the police are releasing minimal information and I think he’s involved. Why would he park that car in a high school parking lot near the home instead of at the home if he didn’t have anything to do with it? Who cares that he got a GED in jail. Why would she bad mouth Jason now that he’s dead? Why would Julia plant crack in her car to get him arrested a year ago? Williams father is in jail for 30 years for murder I think he comes from a bad family!

@bloggergirlz………Cosi is near my job also and I may have seen his ugly ass in there before.

first of all my heart goes out to Jennifer Hudson family, I dont want to see no one die for any reason, but if it’s true that her brother was selling drugs from the home, this will be my motto “you play that game and you will have to deal with what the game dish out” For all drug dealers, no drug dealers get over, they will either, die or go to jail. As far as this william dude, I’m not to clear on him, but what is in the dark, will come to the light.

He’s scum and his mother is on one of the pictures on his page squatting like a damn fool at a club party Julia had last year. She keeps saying she didn’t raise a murderer, maybe she didn’t raise him at all but she gave birth to one. Dumb bytch………

Nancy Grace is a beast. She does not play! Anyway, I heard of other theories as to possible motives to the murders, so the theory of Jen’s brother selling drugs out of the house does not sound that far fetch. Nevertheless, his mother need to stay in her lane and let the justice system figure this tragedy out.

#17: i heard about that as well…the guy sustained a LOT of injuries…

Nancy Grace is a defensive, unprofessional Beetch!

His mother is delusional and needs to wake the hail up! She sounded as dumb as she possibly could!

I kinda understand where the mom is coming from. I am a mother, she could have gone about it differently though. There is alot of mis-info out there. The mom stated Balfour was 16 when he was trying to steal the car, the owner caught him in the act, the owner ran outside to stop the thievery,He jumped on the car(it was new) and Balfour started driving with him on the hood. The prosecution gave him a deal if he plead guilty to a charge he would get 8 years, so thats what he did. It wasnt a car-jacking and he wasnt trying to kill dude, apparently it was a simple car thief situation gone bad, according to what the mom said on Nancy Grace.Julia was 20 or 21 when she started messing with him when he was 16. If he did this, then he’s gonna pay but why hasnt Julia taken him off her top 5 myspace friends list? What about all the pics she has of him with nice captions? She didnt put up this is the man that murdered my family. Why havent they charged him? The chief of police stated during the press conference Balfour was NOT a suspect but a person of interest. They obviously didnt find gun powder on his hands and wrist or something. It is within the mom’s rights to explain to people what she understands as her truth. What if he didnt do it? What if he knows who did it? She shouldnt proclaim his innocence? His mom, as well as Julia, didnt know what he was capable of(if its found he did it).

    editorialgirl says:

First, no one believes their kid is the killer. It’s a fact. Who wants to believe someone they know has the capability of killing someone?

Second, why is this woman bringing the deceased into this? You know, I’m sure the cops would look at the brother’s drug dealing past to determine if that’s the case, if true. The duty of any defense is to create an element of doubt. If they can get people to doubt, then you have a hung jury and no conviction. That’s why the mom is attempting to sway thoughts.

Drug dealers generally don’t purposely kill kids. Now, does that mean I don’t recognize kids are killed in drive bys? Yes I do. And, yes, I know kids have been killed.

My basic point is the type of crimes that are committed generally demonstrate something about the killer. Crimes of passion tend to be more violent than random crimes. We know this, right?

The fact that someone came in the house, killed two people and removed the child to me demonstrates either an attempt at RANSOM or a crime of passion/abuse. And, we’ve all seen that Harlem drug movie about the little brother getting kidnapped in connection to drugs, but one of the key facts about that real crime was that the UNCLE kidnapped the kid. Someone close to the kid.

I find it highly suspect to believe random people shot the family and TOOK the kid and then later shot him two times in the head. A trained killer would have shot him once and probably in the house.

This crime screams of passion and payback. I’m leaning towards the exhusband with someone else involved.

The mother should not even talk. What I have learned is that murderers don’t even care enough about their families to protect them by behaving humanely and not taking someone’s life.

Today is my, “I’m tired of black people perpetuating crime” day. This woman didn’t even know her son’s alibi but she’s defending him? Most urban black communities are unsafe. And, you know, it’s not because of the cops, the media, the world but it’s because enough black people don’t care enough about their communities to make sure they are indeed safe! That’s a problem.

The mother may have hurt her son case more by going on TV without advisement. Those killings was personal and drug related. To kill people like that is personal and usually means drug related. I remember a case in Brooklyn one in ENY and the other Brownsville (different incidents) where a family of 10 one black the other Hispanic ages ranging from 4 12 and adults were all gunned down because of drugs. You have to be heartless to kill a child. The Hispanic family was 8 children and 2 adults one of them pregnant. Everyone was shot in the head including the children who were sleeping in their beds on that palm Sunday. (there was one Survivor a toddler who they did not see or find) There is now a book out called the “Palm Sunday Massacre”. I would never forget that because one of the girls went to my school. Those bodies was in that house for about 2-3 days. There is only one coroner for the tri-state.

The day of the viewings the white casket was all lined up in a circle when you went in you walked around the caskets then exit in the back door. The pregnant mother baby was placed in her arms. All who were laid to rest was dressed in white. You see these type of stories all the time and usually 90% of them is drug related.

Hyde Park is considered High-End for the South-Eastern side of town… At LEAST around 60-75% of the area. But it also leads in statistics when it comes to Break-ends & car damage-n-theft because of All-of-the-HighRise buildings in the heavily populated areas ;-)

When this happened I really considered drugs playing a part. The killer shot through the door and that was unusual. William had been apart of their family since him and Julia were children. Whatever disagreement they had, I sure it has happened before and he was still allowed back in the family home. William would have not needed to shoot through the door. I believe they would have let him in, like many times before and the incident would have started inside. Why the need to just start shooting through the door.

Jennifer may have money, but that doesn’t mean the brother was getting enough of it to sustain himself. Him selling drugs speaks to that;his sister is famous, not him. Just ask siblings or family members of lottery winners and see how much money they got out of it. At any rate…I’m not ruling William out but he wasn’t my only suspect.

TO say this was a crime of passion without knowing ALL the facts is ridiculous. People are so quick to jump the gun and believe everything the media puts on the air. Sure it seems like he did it because of the car situation and the arguement that morning, but if Julia isnt convinced he did it, how can outsiders listening to biased news reports say he did it in a fit of passion?!!

Sure mothers dont want to believe they birthed killers and maniacs, but In all actuality mothers that are 100% sure their child commited such crimes has and will turn their own kid in.

How can any sane person find it highly unlikely something else wasnt going on? Crazy people with dollar signs in their eyes will commit home-invasions kill 2 people, take a child, especially if they think the said family may potentially have access to millions of dollars? even thousands of dollars. If drugs were an issue, dealers or jackers dont care who they kill if they have an agenda. I think people give this dude too much credit. He does not seem all that smart to me.Read his myspace page. For a petty criminal to baffle police to the point they are not calling him a suspect, something else is definitly going on. IMO….

    editorialgirl says:

I didn’t state he did. I said it was a crime of passion because of the removal of the child from the residence to shoot him in the car. Demonstrating either:
    1. Someone was going to hold the child for ransom.
    2. Or, someone wanted to delay the suffering of the parents by kidnapping the child and killing later. (The is he or is he not alive only to be discovered day being the key.)
    3. Or, they person did not want to kill the child but he was killed for being able to identify the perpetrators. (But, that doesn’t explain two shots in the head.)

We’ve all seen snapped. So we know no crime is perfect and MANY unsuspecting people can be criminals.

What we know either Jason or Dornell was killed through the door in the early a.m., and then the second person was killed after a struggle. That means that the door was open. You can’t magically shoot through a door and hit a person you don’t know is standing there. So, this is an assumption, I would assume the door was opened by one of the two victims.

Now, mind you, these people are shot in a bad neighborhood, I believe, and know one sees anything? But, we’ll move passed that… So then the kid is taken. We’re assuming no money was removed because no attachments to a robbery.

Some how and some way the person of interest was in the neighborhood around 7am. No farther details about his involvement released mainly because you screw up a case by revealing all the details, duh.

@63 last night Jody Weiss (the police Super.) Said there was no forced entry, so the reason the shot was that low and not near the locks of the door that baffles me. I’ll be glad when the case is solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the CPD don’t want to rush with anything because a few months ago they arrested and charged a guy for killing a police officer and it was a big deal. Long story short they rushed to judgement and they had to let him go…………..

  74. 74
    editorialgirl says:

Now a car is missing from the scene and the person of interest’s car is parked a mile away or seen nearby at the time. So between 7am – 12 noon something is being done to fix, clean or stage the crime scene. I would assume. Otherwise, why take the white car?

Jason’s mother says he was at his girlfriend’s house. One of them. But, there are reports he was with the pregnant girlfriend, so that should have helped the mother narrow it down. (Name the one that’s pregnant.)

The girlfriend may be the missing link to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. In other words, and now this is an assumption, maybe the girlfriend drove him to the house and he shot everyone up. She didn’t know what to do… She then becomes the alibi out of fear. (See: Alpha Dog)

I’ve seen too many lifetime movies. The good thing is no crime is perfect and I’m sure the cops will figure it out with all the scrutiny surrounding the case.

It has also been said by the CPD that the pregnant girlfriend is disputing his alibi.

@dc wife, second thought it probably was Hyde Park because it was pretty close to the lake. When i first pulled over the buildings were pretty nice and i asked a hotel doorman for directions first. i used the instructions he gave me to get back on the expressway but went ahead and flashed a policeman and asked him to confirm that i was going the right way.

A person of interest and a suspect is TWO different things !!!

A person of inteest can know things and possibly be a witness

A suspect is more than likely the perp and evidence is mounting up on them. DUH !!

    Nancy SHUT IT DOWN!!

Momma don’t know what her son is capable of doing…..and she showed it last night….he was with his girlfriend like she knew he was there…then when Nancy japped back with her, it’s “well, my oldest son had said…..”

How Julia gon put some drugs in the car, when they already saying it was found on the seat when he got out the car? Ok, 5 0 probably did pull him over for no reason (which got the shyt dropped), but damn!

He did, I don’t care what his momma say……

    WTH?!?!?

    editorialgirl says:

@Candi, there are also rules for holding someone as a suspect and person of interest, which could generally be WHY he’s just a person of interest at this time. Perhaps it was a drug related offense, brought on by the “person of interest”, and the child was taken because they thought it was his blood son. But, with the person of interest pleading the 5th and the whole “stop snitching” movement that our community likes to embrace, WHO knows if they could get the truth from him.

I will tell you this. Heard all this before. Seen it before. The similar case that I know of had no residue and distance between cities as their evidence. Hung jury. It took the conscious of the killer’s brother to come forward and state, this person is guilty and they had me conceal the evidence in cement, to get this person to finally be found guilty. And while this is not the same case, I get flashbacks of it because of the victimization of a whole family.

    Editorial Girl,

It has been reported that the mother was killed at the front door, and her son was found in the bedroom, with defensive wounds….

I think the young man was killed in the truck…Chi news says he died multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head….we are forgetting that he was a big boy…bullets were probably lodged in his body, which would explain only one bullet hole in the truck.

    :(

    Boooooooooooo!!!

  83. 83
    dcwife1622 says:

It was probably Hyde Park because if you cross one street (Cottage Grove)you are back on the shady blocks. If you were going back to the express way (Dan Ryan) as oppossed to (Lake Shore Drive) you have to hit the hood to get back to the expressway.

    editorialgirl Says:

I didn’t state he did. I said it was a crime of passion because of the removal of the child from the residence to shoot him in the car. Demonstrating either:
    1. Someone was going to hold the child for ransom.
    2. Or, someone wanted to delay the suffering of the parents by kidnapping the child and killing later.

    ******************************************

This falls in line with what the family said about William threatening to take Julian away from Julia. IMO, William removed the child from the home to prolong Julia’s agony. The b!tch in him wanted to hurt Julia in the worst possible way.

Also, cops say the boy suffered trauma to the head in addition to gunshot wounds. He took that child out in the cold with only a pair of shorts and a t-shirt on. That means he intended to kill the boy and hide his body. If Jennifer had been home at the time, she would be dead too.

AS SOMEONE ELSE SAID HIS MOTHER IS AN ENABLER! I DON’T KNOW IF HE KILLED OR PARTOOK IN THE KILLINGS BUT GOD HAVE MERCY ON WHOMEVER DID.

Wow…these people really sound thuggish and criminal. Aside from Obama, I’ve yet to see much of anything decent come out of Chicago. Even in college, my worst experience with room mates was with the one from Chicago. Anyone know Gekeetah Williams – I hate that **** to this day! *whew* I had a flash-back – sorry, yall!
    __________________________________________________________
I don’t know Gekeetah, but I know some super trifling chicks from the Southside of Chicago that I went to college with and they were always lying, gossiping, and generally keeping up trouble, while going to church every Sunday and singing in the gospel choir in their spare time

    purepisces says:

    @ Bird

Jenn got the money, but they wouldn’t go. News outlets have been reporting the Hudsons’ neighbors as saying that Jennifer offered repeatedly to move her mother and syblings out the hood (dangerous place that it is), but her mother did not want to leave her community and her home. She was determined that Jennifer’s stardom would not change them as a family. I bet they wish they had gone on and made that move now…

BUT, I guess if that Balfour dude was still in the family graces (just barely) trouble would have likely followed them wherever they (and he) went…plus the rumors of Jenn’s brother selling drugs…who knows??
