I said the same thing, why would a newlywed, who’s never had relaionship problems be singing a single ladies song. i thought it was reflective and personal. I don’t understand that, maybe she saw the success of trina’s single again and how people responded and the same for if i were a boy by ciara now that was hawt. I mean she should be so full of love and happiness right now.

sigh…..i was hoping and waiting….heard both songs…maybe they will grow on me….first Ciara, now Beyonce….the problem is that they are rushing to put out these albums instead of taking their time and making something worth listening to. Jenifer Hudson seem to doing the best so far with her first single “spotlight”. Brandy is doing good also. oh well, just have to wait.

I am a huge Beyonce fan and I must say that I am highly disappointed in both of the songs. I will still go out and get the album, I just hope that it provides better songs than these two. I am feeling the “Beautiful Nightmare” song. Hopefully that majority of the album will be similar to this song and not these two leaked singles.

I like “Like a boy”. It’s cute,kind of reminds of me a late 80’s soft rock song. I hope she puts a video out for this, it could help the song blow. Hating “Single Ladies” WTF?

I am the opposite of a fan of hers and I’m really not ready for this hollering azz chick. Her music is not growing. She said she was going to open up and sing songs about life experience. I’m not hearing that.

Beyonce sounds very somber. Is it me or has Jay put her through a lot. You can hear the sadness in her voice and in the lyrics. This is a time in which she should be happy, excited and giddy being that she is a newlywed. I guess money can’t by happiness.

now this is an uptempo song , but i still feel nothing . this song sounds like get me bodied and i thought that would make me like it more because i love get me bodied, but i still get nothing. her fans are gonna eat both these songs up and treat this like she brought something so fresh and new to the table though.
