Obama Youth Corp: shades of the Black Panthers?

This video is an example of what has some conservatives very nervous about Sen. Barack Obama being elected president.
Some in the media are already comparing the Obama Youth Junior Fraternity Regiment to the Black Panthers.
I can’t say I blame the rednecks for getting alarmed. The youths march around in military uniforms saying things like “Obama takes on racist America!,” and chanting “yes, we can” which, as you know is Obama’s campaign slogan.
This video of the regiment going through their daily routine reportedly caused the suspension of a middle school teacher in Kansas City, Mo.
Well, I for one will be happy if this Obama Youth Fraternity thing takes off and involves youths in America’s urban communities. It’s time we take our youth back from BET and MTV and teach them to respect themselves again.

i agree with this.
If they are gonna call themself repping Obama then they need to jazz that thing up. I watched all of it out of respect for the you men, but it was boring as hell.
Oh yeah and how are they like Black Panthers? All they said was Barack was inspiring them to be things they didn’t original think they could. If someone got offended, I guess it was because of the racist white America comment, which I admit did fit in with the message of the video. Fatique pants don’t make you a Black Panther.

There’s a video tape of her at church with a black/African preacher praying over her, the tripped out thing is that he’s from Africa and believes in witches and sprits and stuff, it was on MSNBC last night with Keith Olberman..This preacher actually had a woman ran out of the villiage because she had a snake as a pet and the preacher believed that she was a witch and the snake was a demon, no lie look it up..The point NBC was making is that Palin is running around calling Obama a terrorist and she got some weird shyt in her own closet.

However knowing that the “MAJORITY” of all the American people are feeling Obama including a long list of celebrities and musical artist…Now based on that alone if some how this simple minded McCain and Sarah bytches get into office I’m through with voting…After living the past 8yrs with this dumb mutha f u c k a Bush being in office when no one voted for him to began with this will further complete that we don’t live in a democracy aint no point in voting if my vote doesn’t matter. Clearly many “blacks” have adopted a white fear mentality when it concerns Black people. Hell, you’d think we’d be happy and support a Black run/centered organization that instilled DISCIPLINE and respect into our boys, Lord knows these single mothers and absent fathers aint did shid.

I think that the young men were on point. They were all dressed alike just like most schools have their student do all across the country. And what made it so beautiful, their pants were not touching the floor and they all could speak and their English was great, and their dreams and hopes where out standing , unlike the pit bull – barracuda, who can’t even put a sentence together.

Yet, this moose eating, NRA card carrying bimbo, who kills animals for fun, while Michael Vicks serve time, was in such a heated rush to run off at the mouth, that she didn’t even have sense enough to put shoes and socks on her and Bristol’s child.
While she is so busy trying to slam Senator Obama, even before she got on the ticket, the people in Alaska were saying that the baby is Bristol’s and Todd is the baby’s Father.
