According to Illinois Dept. of Corrections, William Balfour, 27, was out on probation after serving 7 years in prison for attempted murder and car jacking. Jennifer’s sister Julia, who is a Chicago bus driver, saw the perfect thug in William with whom she had 7-year-old Julian. Police are looking for William and his son. Julia’s employer tells TMZ.com she worked her shift today but hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

From TMZ.com: Police are looking for William Balfour (bottom left), who they claim could be with the missing 7-year-old. According to records, Balfour listed Hudson’s mother’s address as a place of residence within the last year. According to the Illinois Department of Corrections website, Balfour is currently on parole after serving jail time for attempted murder.

According to the LATimes blog, Jennifer Hudson is in Los Angeles to shoot a music video for her new album on Monday. She is expected back in Chicago later tonight.

Chicago police issued an all points bulletin for William Balfour who is driving a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban with the license plate X584859 or a teal/green Chrysler Concord four-door sedan with a left front headlight hanging off and scratches on all along the left side with temporary tags 332K823.

The SUV was reportedly missing from the area of a home where Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death earlier today.

A relative found the bodies of Darnell Donerson, 57, and her son Jason around 2:44 PM today. Police say they are looking for a Balfour, who is believed to be the husband of Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia. Balfour is in the company of Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew Julian King — Julia’s son.

Friends say Jennifer is extremely close to her nephew who family call “Tugga Bear”.

Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said the deaths appeared to be the result of domestic abuse, but she declined to elaborate.

A publicist for Hudson at her record label said she was not aware of any incident involving Hudson’s mother. (Source)
