TMZ: Chester (Lyfe) Jennings BUSTED!
According to TMZ.com Lyfe Jennings, real name Chester, was busted early this morning on multiple charges.
Now we see why he keeps his dome covered to hide that hairline which is slowly creeping north:
Smyrna, Ga. police tell us they were responding to a gunshots fired call when they spotted Jennings’ Vette hightailing it away from the scene. A chase ensued and Jennings eventually crashed. He was charged with felony weapon possession by a convicted felon. and he faces charges of attempting to elude, as well as discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusing to take the sobriety test.Lyfe — real name Chester — was in prison from 1992-2002 after being convicted of arson. He did make you feel like he was our family. I too am so disappointed in him. He always seemed so positive and his songs reflect that. He always comes back home and puts on free concerts. There is no good excuse for him having a gun knowing he is a conficted felon. Some ppl just don’t know how to live a straight and narrow life. I want to know what happen and it does look like he was in a bar fight or crashed the car.

His first cd is so good. The interludes between each song made me feel like I was really getting to know him. I was happy that he got out of prison and was doing right, making motivating music, music that made you think, not just bullish shake ya azz, buss baby, lick this ….. type of ish.
Now I did see him in concert up close and personal and although I’m a major fan, he has some real shifty azz eyes like he cant be trusted. I still feel for him
