I use to feel like a loser too from having sex with guys who I later felt like manipulated me or used me for convenience.

Only you know what is best for you, no matter what anyone tells you. Of course celibacy will not stop urges, but it will damn sure keep you in love with yourself when you don’t have to worry about STD’s and feeling dirty about giving your body to some unworthy lost soul.

Not to mention, their are men out there who will respect you for respecting yourself, and if not you didn’t need them anyways.

I was celibate for 3 yrs before .. and i abstain in between my visits from my military beau … clarity and vision were about the same. . spotting b.s. comes with time and maturity … i’m at the age that if I wanted to hit it and quit it .. i would .. no biggie .. i never did like the double standard imposed on women who have a strong sexual drive and chose to act on it ..

@ Hermosa it was by choice more than circumstance for me … After I gave birth I wasn’t sexually motivated at all - no drive whatsoever.

I went through a process of rethinking and thinking and reflecting on the actual ACT.

I am working on celibacy now .. its hasn’t been that long, and the reason this time is because I am channeling my energy. I don’t want to share anything with a man right now … trying to work through some things within my spirit and mind.

And she never said she was celibate Sandra … fix that.

I KNOW (I did it for the Same Reason)…
And like I stated earlier, It Didn’t Help Me in that regard “to see things clearer”

And DON’T continue to beat yourself up over this…
