By now you know that Jermaine Dupri couldn’t make it to Pure Atlanta last night because he was in Dubai with Janet Jackson for the Grand Opening of the world’s most expensive hotel, the $1.5 billion dollar Atlantis on the man-made Palm Jumeirah island. I know you’ve all seen pictures of it.
According to JustJared, more than 2000 celebrities from all over the world traveled to Dubai to indulge in the wasteful excess, including A-listers like Charlize Theron, Robert De Niro, Lindsay Lohan, Kylie Minogue, Lily Allen, Michael Jordan, Denzel Washington, Mary-Kate Olsen and even Oprah. B-listers Wesley Snipes and Chris Tucker were also there.
International singing star Kylie was paid a whopping $4 million to perform for one hour. The Grand Opening party for the ultra luxurious Palm Jumeirah man-made island cost more than $32 million and the party guests were worth billions in personal wealth. I’m sure security for the party was ridiculous.

Man I saw that celebration on CNN or Today this morning and I can’t wait to hit the lottery so I can go to Dubai and stay at that gorgeous island hotel. If I can’t stay there I at least have to see it. The fireworks display was out of this cotton picking world.

DIIVVVVAAAA. . .I LOVE MIAMI!!! I went in February of this year and I fell in love with Miami Beach. I never thought that I would enjoy myslef so much but, man do I miss it. I wish I would’ve spend more time on the beach. I’m seriously considering moving there. IT’S GORGEOUS!

@melinla yes you can come to my house. me, my husband who is only home 2-3 days out of the week, and my two girls.
the oldest one is who daddy is genetically challenged. he was born with one hand that doesn’t have all of his fingers (he is missing one but it is not noticeable to outsiders…)
my momma AND my sister BOTH confessed to counting all of her fingers and toes in the delivery room…on the sly. cause him and his mom were in there too. my sister leaned over and whispered “she has them all” so i would have to holler out…in the delivery room….”does she have all of her fingers???” in front of them….that woulda been REAL ugly….
and i don’t want janet to have to go through that (counting toes…not noticing until a week later the innocent baby may have tangled up eyes…not knowing until school starts if the baby got chicklets or not….) best for them to love the one he got or adopt. yes sir.

Diva-Taxes are a grip down there and you do have the hurricanes but it’s all worth it to live in paradise!

The atmostphere that Miami gave me so was different from Chi City. Don’t get me wrong, I love my city, Chi City but ain’t no place in this world like Miami.

Dubai is really a nice place love it every time I go, if u like gold, you can get really good stuff at more reasonable prices. Of course half the treat is flying on Emirates.
Regarding security in Dubai… I doubt it was higher than any other event, people will not pull shenanigans, it’s still the Middle East your butt will get locked up.
