Alaska governor Sarah Palin can’t catch a break. Palin visited a turkey farm in Anchorage, Alaska yesterday to pardon a turkey in time for Thanksgiving.
Following the pardoning, Palin was interviewed by a news crew while a farm worker behind Palin was busy slaughtering another turkey.
Well, it is a turkey farm and that’s what they do there. But common sense should have prevailed and the turkey killing should have halted at least until the cameras were gone.
Don’t watch this video if you feel any kind of way about turkeys. It isn’t pleasant to watch. And the devilish grin on the man’s face doesn’t help any.

She needs to just go ahead and dye her hair blonde. Common sense should have set in before she went in front of the cameras. This broad won’t go away!!!!!!!
Her annoying voice was more disturbing than the turkey killing. It wasn’t particularly brutal or bloody so it’s no big deal. Everybody eats turkey for Thanksgiving and we all know that they were killed in order for us to eat them. It was interesting to see how they do it.
Good point Bird because not a lot ot people consider the process when they are eating it.
That’s why you have all these animal rights activists going crazy, talking about maltreatment of animals.

I did run into this website that showed some very extreme unsanitary conditions. It was bananas!

I seriously feel like its beyond unjust, we merged back in 07 and were supposed to recieve a raise after the merger and when the new titles and positions were set forth …

@iyonah same thing for us. we have had a salary freeze in effect for some papers since 2007. we got ours after round 2 of buyouts/layoffs about 5- 6 months ago. they sent 2 folks from my team home, divided up the work amongst the 3 of us left, and now we are not going to get paid any extra for any of the new duties we “inherited” until AT LEAST 2010.

When I saw this on the news last night my first thought “what was she thinking”, then I quickly remembered what do you expect, it’s “Palin head”.
I agree w/ Bird. Palin always sounds like she just finished drinking a tall glass of milk. Like her throat still has that “thick feeling” you get. I was expecting something a little more bloddy, but at least I know how turkeys are slaughtered.

I feel u on the raise situation but at the same time with people losing their jobs left and right…I am happy just to have my job everyday. We went thru one round of layoff on 10/15th and I couldnt imagine not having a job around the holidays. No job or No raise?? Ummm I’ll take No Raise for $500 Alex!!
