Keyshia Cole, A Different Me Album Cover

This is the official album cover for Keyshia’s Cole’s upcoming CD A Different Me. I have mixed feelings about this cover. On the one hand, I like the way the graphic artists made KeyCo’s tattoo the central focus of the album and the way it seems to float off her arm and wrap around her body.

But on the other hand, why does she look like she’s a contestant in the swimsuit competition of the Miss America Pageant? I would have loved to see Keyshia in something a little more classy.

I can’t wait no matter what’s on the album cover the album is going to be fire no doubt. real talent. might not be the best dancer or performer but she can move you with lyrics alone, that’s my girl!

I like it. She’s staying true to the “Old hollywood Glamour” look I seen her with lately. This cover really shows the softer side and make her seem more elegant and upscale. I really think it’s a good look for her. She will definately give Ms. Sasha a run for her money this time around. This ablum covers proves it. I am glad she decided to relase her ablum this year, and wasn’t afraid to go up against Bey (sorry Bey Fans). Maybe they will be neck and neck in catagories at the Grammys next year!

at what age does an artist decide not to flash ass and titties to sell a cd? i wanna hear her tracks though, this horrible cover aside. she put it down with “sent from heaven.” that sshyt is hot.

i also agree….lose that tattoo….she and beyonce do two different types of music. keyshia has a way to go,cuz like someone said, she needs an attitude adjustment too. REALLY BAD. when i watch her show, she seems more pleasant than when she first started. i know so many contributing factors are the blame for that, but at the end of the day, it’s what SHE put out.

she gone drop her cd before or after beyonce. she better. i like them both, but beyonce sells would blow hers out the water. beyonce’s a global artist; keyshia’s still local. say what you want, but it’s true. B can go to London or Japan or fill up arenas. i haven’t seen or heard about keyshia being able to do the same. i’m not knocking her, but im just saying.

I like the tat ( i have six but all in palces i can hide when necessary) I LOVE THE LOOK she is really growing before our very eyes….I would say check the ‘tude but people in glass houses can’t throw stones….HONESTLY Keyshia can do no wrong in my eyes she went through so much at a young age and has come so far I will support anything she does…I STAN FOR KC!!!

Keyco looks fine to me…aside from the tattoo, the outfit is classy. She wore a modest one-piece…coulda busted out with a two-peice thong set!!! I don’t get “sexy” when I look at this pic…

I have not been a keishia cole fan since “The Way It Is”. She needs to get back to her roots and stop trying to be accepted by the mainstream aka white america because she will never be. I will not purchase this album because I shouldn’t have wasted my hard earned $$$$ on her last album. Whatever, that crap was??????/

This will be the first and only CD I’ll buy for 08… The cover is ok.Her face looks nice but I would rather see her with clothes on. I love Keyshia’s music, so Im kinda biased, she could put out a country cd and I still might buy.

BTW, @ 22 I hate that song as well. Also, that damn necklace she has on in the cover is so overshadowing the bathing suit. Maybe they should remove it via photoshop because the necklace and bathing suit are saying too opposite things.

@ # 39 there are only about 4 songs I like on the entire album, “Just Like You”, “Sent From Heaven”, “Let It Go” and “Falling Outta Love”. That’s it!!!!!!!! Here first album I was able to play the entire thing from beginning to end w/out skipping a track. Just my opinion.

On her first album I could play just about every song. The second album I can play all 4 from missmiami’s list with the addition of “shoulda let you go”, “I remember” and “work it out”. Now that last one is my SONG!! Could be biased because I feel that’s the position I’m in right now but never-the-less I love the song.

Although I love KeyCo, I prolly won’t buy the album until I hear most of the songs & believe it’s worth my money!

I think Keyshia looks great. I like that look and the concept with the tattoo. On a side note, am I the only one who watched the season premiere of her show and was LMFAO ! Neffie and Frankie = PURE ENTERTAINMENT ! I wjill not miss an episode this season !

I love the whole thing. I love Keyshia! As for the tat, I have seven, one on one arm and two on the other. The others are on my back. I think that she looks classy regardless. Tats don’t make you look tacky. Well, as long as they aren’t into overkill. I think it’s an awesome contradiction: edgy meets classy. It shows she’s multi-faceted and embraces it without fear.

Hell, I’m 54 yrs old and Keyshia is one of my favorite artist. She’s got a beautiful, sexy, wonderful voice and considering all the drama in her family, she’s a smart, accepting young woman with a good heart and good intentions plus she ain’t producing a church full of children, alone.

I realize many on this board may have problems with my views but I’ll go to my grave speaking my peace, trying to make a difference in the world. (The pen is mightier than the sword.) Keep up the good work Keyshia, here’s one fan that will always be in your corner.
