I skip the Obama posts also. @ Intense- I read those parts, but that's why I asked for examples in my first post. Like I said, I see putting Obama on a pedestal, because he is POTUS. But as far as people tearing Beyonce down just because we hate ourselves, or don't identify with "someone who has it all", I don't get that part. And I read the whole thing. That's why it takes at least two to communicate. One person gives the message, the other receives. What is given and what is received is not always the same. @iscream I agree. You obviously just skimmed and touched on the surface of my response-if you had really read and comprehended what I posted you would know that my post had very little to do with people liking or disliking celebrities and more to do with our own self-acceptance issues and how we tend to uphold some for the wrong reasons and condone others for doing right (accomplishment/wealth/success etc.) for all the wrong reasons And trust and believe anything I say on-line I can say in person it's all a matter of opinion and delivery/tact what is someone going to do/say to me that I couldn't do/say to them in return? And I'm not sure if your post had a point-for one nobody said it was that serious and for two I just stated my opinion, and like always whenever someone has a difference of opinion someone will make an attempt to spar, now that's what isn't that serious?
