It seems Barack Obama has managed quite a few ‘firsts’ since being elected the first biracial president of the U.S.
While sharing Thanksgiving dinner with select guests in his Kenwood home, Obama delivered the first Godless Thanksgiving message ever by a president-elect (CLICK to read the full text).
According to Washington insiders, the president-elect’s first decree upon taking office in January will be to remove the words ‘In God We Trust’ from the presidential seal.
Some people won’t have any problems with omitting God from the seal because they firmly believe in the doctrine of separation of church and state.
But for others who find comfort in those words, the removal of ‘In God We Trust’ will be difficult to accept.
Barack Obama, who some say secretly practices the muslim faith, is the first president-elect in history to skip church following the elections. His camp says they don’t want to disturb the other parishioners — yet he finds time to attend a public gym on Sundays. Not to mention George Bush regularly attends church.
I guess worshiping at the alter of Nautilus is more pressing?

Liar. Liar..Pants on fire.
He needs to remove it because there is no God in the way this country has conducted itself, from the overwhelming pollution to the inhumane way certain individuals are treated here. Yeah Bush goes to church every Sunday, just like some other “saints” I know, that doesnt mean a dang thing!
yawnnnnnnnnn …
Not to mention George Bush regularly attends church.

As blasphemous as it may sound (Almighty forgive me) but they DON’T want to remove “In GOD we trust” from the money because I heard it stands for “Gun Oil and Drugs”.
I’m just saying.
@Kym:
What the hail I miss about Porshe Foxx???
@Keely .. apparently she got fired from V103 last week …
*shrugs* .. while I hate to hear folk losing their jobs .. I didn’t care for her as an on air “personality”
Not to mention George Bush regularly attends church.
^^ i know alot of people that attend church regularly and still behave like devils. how do you know he goes to church all the time. lmao
i think you have forgotten that not all of those in the US choose to believe in God. not all of us choose to attend church every service especially if we are sending young boys in girls to war, giving millions to CEO’s while they lay off thousands and give them selves 10 million bonus. i do believe in God, but i dont need those words uttered or throw around just to be used. you know Muslims believe in god, just not jesus.
This post is funnier than that white woman who is in denial about her hoe-ness!
@Kym:
They fired her again???!!!!!WTF?
And this relates to his presidency in which way? I guess because GW attends church we should pretend that he isn’t the devil’s best helper…please can we get some real news!
I can’t wait for all you non-believers!
So Bored with this Sandra…
@ #9^^ i know alot of people that attend church regularly and still behave like devils. how do you know he goes to church all the time.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You better say that, this a quote from the Ho housewife post “Feldman said. “My kids are my life. I go to church every Sunday.”
LMAO!!!!!!!!! @ Missi. Good ays catch.
Umm last time I checked Muslims believed in GOD, too. So throwing the whole muslim (rumor) in there means what?
I dont know what to take from this. My mom is muslim, my dad is christian. Even though i consider myself a christan, i dont understand why people think that muslim are heathen or something awful?They believe in God, and even though the dont believe that Christ was the son of god, they belive that he was wise and holy ( a prophet). I also dont understand why muslim are attacked when other religions arent( buddist, hindu,scientologist ?) Why is not ok to judge some one by the color of thier skin, but is ok to attack them for their religion.. just saying
but god says you must believe in his son…….jesus.
don’t worry about the others in the church worry about yourself !
Hell. I didn’t attend church either, but show me in the Constitution were it says one must go to church or to even be a “Christian” to be president, then I might - just might - care about what Obama chooses to do in his private life. (and yes he is entitled to a private life even as president/president-elect)
First when did Thanksgiving become a “Christian” holiday I some churches do have events but it not like easter or Christmas it was a celebration of harvest …second Pastor toosexy though you make a good point with the Believing in God’s son….it’s none of our business who is praying to who and all will be judge by God himself
And??
I’m atheist and I could give a damn what the president believes. He could believe in satan for all I care. as long as he runs the country correct and doesn’t **** it up anymore…i’m happy.
Oh, and the only people that would have a problem with this are christians that can’t just accept that everyone doesn’t believe in the same thing as them. As you can see some even are so full of themselves and their beliefs that they make comments about not being able to wait until the “non-believers” are proven wrong.
My question to those like them is, what are YOU going to do when you find out that the bible and christianity is a sham?
@Sandi
Well Mrs. Lois K. Feldman, 38, of Carroll, Iowa is a God fearing women.
@sexyma
I am not a pastor yet, but hopefully one day. anyway your comment did not make sense simply because i never stated how should pray to who, now did I? I only said god said to believe in his son, and i said I can’t wait for the non-believer’s and frankly i can’t!
meant …..who
TO ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO CURSE GOD AND DON’T BELIEVE , THIS COUNTRY IS IN JUDGEMENT BECAUSE OF MOST OF YOU. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WAR, WITH PRESIDENTS OR NOTHING, THIS COUNTRY IS BEING JUDGED BECAUSE OF EVIL, AND WANTING TO EXCLUDE GOD.
Sandra can I get a link to an official document stating that he is going to remove those words from money?
IF CHRISTANITY IS A SHAME THEN WHY IS IT THE ONLY RELIGION THAT GOES THROUGH IT. WHY ARE CHRISTIANS PERSECUTED FOR THEIR BELIEFS MORE THAN ANY OTHER, WHY IS THE WHOLE MIDDLE EAST CONFLICT OVER HOLY LAND AND JESUS PROPHET OR SON OF GOD, WHY IS THIS THE OLDEST RELIGION THAT DATES BACK FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION AND WHY WAS IT ALREADY WRITTEN. I DON’T EVEN NEED TO KNOW THAT BECAUSE AN ATHIEST WOULD NEVER KNOW HOW REAL GOD IS TO THE ONES WHO HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. I HAVE STOPPED COMMENTING ON A LOT OF THINGS TO KEEP DOWN CONFUSION, BUT I STAND TALL AND PROUD TO ALL AND SAY I LOVE THE LORD AND I BELIEVE HE SENT HIS SON WHO DIED AND ROSE ON THE THIRD DAY! I LOVE THE LORD I LOVE THE LORD I LOVE THE LORD, AND EVIL WILL NEVER WIN, THIS COUNTRY, NO MAKE THAT THE UNIVERSE WILL ALWAYS BE HIS AND HIS CREATION, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU CAME FROM….APES AND MONKEYS YOU REALLY BELEIVE THAT. EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL CONFESS.

@buttercup24…Sandra is trying to prove that he is the anti-christ. This post has NOTHING to do with his acts as our president, but the underlying suggestions instead.
missnee Says:
My question to those like them is, what are YOU going to do when you find out that the bible and christianity is a sham?
__________________________________________________________
@missnee you weren’t referring to me but I look at it like this. I’m not big on religion because everyone thinks theirs is right and the only right religion so I just read the bible and try to learn and folloow it. I would much rather get to heaven and find out that some things weren’t exactly accurate then to get to judgement and have GOD ask me why I didn’t trust and believe in him. I’m sure people won’t be punished for being mis-led.
toosexy:
So in you mind we are being judged not because of the horrible evil deeds we are doing (uh the war would be included in that), but because we don’t want in god we trust on our money???
Look, I come from a religious family (Catholic) and so I was forced to study this story of the bible and if you were true to the word of jesus christ you would know that the basis of the the word and teachings are to live your life as a good person and help those around you. That doesn’t include talking down to or damning those that don’t share the same beliefs as you.
No one is trying to exclude your god from your life, but you need to realize that your beliefs are not shared by everyone and the government has to reflect that.
toosexy:
And that’s your right to stand tall and proud about it, but I think your religious beliefs are nothing more than an opinion and has no place in government business.
I don’t believe in God and I don’t believe in Sky Faeries. I do believe Jesus was a real person, but I don’t think a god put him in Mary’s stomach and I don’t believe he rose from the dead. To me that whole story sounds like a cover up for a chick that had sex and got pregnant. There has been no real proof that these events happened. The only thing you have to go with is what a man made book tells you.
And yes, I do believe in evolution.
@missnee, yes i agree their are some lost people, and I dont judge or damn people, but it’s the other way around, when you say chirstian or you believe in god, i have been attacked just off my faith alone, so who’s the real judge? If you were raised and studied christanity then you would know that god lead wars, wars are nessecary at some point, even though it might have been other motives by some, but those people deserve to be free just like us, did anyone ever think about that? Those are god’s people that were being persecuted, and ruled by evil. so he freed his people just like he has done before. also the problem with your last statement is kinda my answer to the gay marriage,
this country was built on god, so really you need to realize that , just like marriage was traditionally between man and woman, you guys are trying to make changes to something that has been here forever since the beginning of time…God
@missnee
no, i go off what i have experienced and seen that makes me believe, I have experienced him myself and i know that he’s real ain’t no doubt in my mind. and you believe what you do but i will pray for you, and hope one day before it’s too late you get to know the lord. peace gotta go back to work now.
@Terika
Thanks for answering!
Everyone does have the tendency to believe theirs is the only true word, but I get frustrated with the fact that if i’m found out to be an atheist or I mention i’m an atheist christians that know this start passing good old judgement. When I go over to a friends house for a meal and they pray over it, I don’t have a fit and make a scene, I just bow my head to show respect. I may not pray but I do respect your beliefs and won’t show out.
I wish I could get the same when it comes to my beliefs. Respect that I don’t believe in god and keep it movin’. I’m not a bad person and if god and the story of jesus is real then they should have no problems accepting me because I lived my life as a good person and help those in need.
And I respectfully decline your prayer. Save it for someone else.
And I have been attacked for mine toosexy, so what? My mother in law thinks i’m a horrible person because i’m an atheist.
And you just as easily pass judgement on non believers. I didn’t say one word until you started with the non believers mess.
@missnee
i simply stated what i believed and you took it upon your self to reply, isn’t that how it went? I was speaking in general, not to you. and does anyone know what it means to judge who throw that out?, just because i said non-believer’s, that’s judging , no it’s not because do you believe? are their non-believer’s? so how is saying something truthfull judging.
@ TOOSEXY…of course it doesn’t make sencse to you…you one day want to be a pastor but go by the monarc of TOOSEXY…..my point is GOD judges not you or any one else on this site ….I do believe in GOd an try to live everyday as a reflection of that…but also know that the day I stop falling short I am with my maker cause we all fall shport on a daily!!!
@sexyma
so since i believe in god, I can’t be sexy. please girl. and so you go by sexyma, what does that mean you can’t be with god cuz your sexy, please girl. and in my opinion if you believe then it is our business, didn’t god say spread his word I will not denouce him just because somebody don’t beleive , i didn’t say anything out the way, i only stated that god said we must beleive in his son, am i correct? then what’s the problem, you then call me a pastor , what made you upset by that statement when you just said it was none of your business, and yes i am sexy, smart, and successful and i still love god. and of course we all fall short of his glory nowhere did i claim to be perfect that’s why i dont understand where your coming from at all. I live my life the best i can, i am not perfect , but one thing he will not say to me is i was shame, never will i be shame to say i believe in the lord and that’s all i said here, and look what happened.
@TOOSEXY and this is my last post cause i dont do the internet argument thing….BUTTTT….my point regarding this post is Thanksgiving is NOT a christian Harvest….do we as Christians give thanks to God on this day Yes…but we as Christians should be giving thanks EVERYDAY for the blessings we recieve…DO i think that Obama has a duty to speak about Blessings from God as president…NO….do I care what Obama the man and his family pray to behind their closed doors NO….This post was about Obama president elect Obama not being Christian enough because he did not mention God and the first comment you made was…”I can’t wait for all the non-belivers”…well I as a Christian was offended by your comment so I responed
@sexyma
this is debating, and my comment was for the people that denounce god, i wasn’t even referring to obama. a comment about not believing in god sparked my comment so you jumped the gun, and as a christian i truly can’t wait for those who speak horribly about god.The things i have heard on this internet has shocked me. so again sexyma no hard feeling but you had me completely wrong , i didn’t even mention thanks giving being a christian holiday or nothing so again , i see how you got confused , i hope i cleared it up for you. see ya! and also i am concered for other souls as all chrisitans should be, I work on myself daily and pray for the lost, I suppose to care.
This post is ridiculously stupid for soooooooo many reasons!
