2 ideas for those who like to party with like-minded friends

1)Listening Party - where someone purchases the newest cds and we all listen, burn our own copies and have drinks. Last one I went too was Kym’s Kym II cd. By the end of the night - we had pulled out some old Will Downing, Anita Baker and Jill Scott.

2)ROUND THE WORLD PARTY (great for the holidays) - each host (no more than 4) chooses a country (or color). We travel to the first house, have hor’dervs (sp?) from the country (or color), then we all go to the second house together, have hor’dervs (sp?) from that host’s country (or color) , etc, etc. . . . until we’re at the last house. We don’t do anything without food and alcohol. For example, earlier this year, I chose the color green. I served apple martinis and spinach pizza. (it was green and better than brocoli)

i cosign with intensemocha. we have what we call “daiquiri parties.”

everybody bring their blender and a diff. flavor and the alcohol to go in. and a cd. the host provides ice and food.

by the end of the night everybody is full and tipsy. once we had like 4-5 diff. flavors (we have duplications but that time we had a big variety). i think we all crashed at my sister house. like 8 of us! LMAO.

I can’t even front-if I am at home I can stay up late watching t.v. or pitter pattering around the house cleaning something

but if I am out past 11 and it aint church or some form of entertainment I enjoy I turn into a gremlin-LOL, like a toddler having a temper tantrum because they are hungry/tired/or just irritable-I’m usually home at 10 also.

my girlfriends and I had a “girls night in” everybody brought something to compliment the main dish-lasagna, marguerita mix, alcohol, chips, salad etc. and we sat around ate, talked, laughed, and just hung out-it was really nice and definitely more enjoyable than any club.

Home is the best place to be or someone elses home that you know…..
