He already gave his choice for the senate seat a job in his cabinet and I have not heard he really cared much about anyone else for the seat. This is just another example of how crazy this man is and the person he appointed should have the good sense not to accept as he will suspect for the rest of his term and probably won't be re-elected no matter how good a job he does.
