I liked Hadley Street Dreams, and I like Solange way better than I care for her sister. Her hair looks good, and the makeup is fine, except it doesn’t go with her outfit – she probably changed. You all remember Joi – Gipp’s (GooDie MOB) wife, well she seemed to stretch the weird factor, too, but she had a big fan base – just not big enough to go platinum. Solange seems to be headed down that same road. Success isn’t always measured by Billboard Charts and BET TOP 10. Leave Solange alone, and let her find her artistic self – Yall let Badu do it, didn’t ‘cha?

Erykah Badu is iconic of the neo-soul movement. While I’ll agree, her appearance is a little freaky. No one else was bringing it the way she was at the time. Honestly, there is no disputing the talent of Erykah. She was quite inspirational to many that came after her.

Solange should even dream of being remembered 5 years from now. She is trying to get out from the shadow of her superstar sibling. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have the talent or the individuality.

It’s been some years for me (when she was pregnant with the last baby) and she put on one hell of a show. Girl, she was rolling on the floor, doing all kinds of dancing and singing her azz off. Solange, got the public association but if it were not for her famous family, she would be in the same category as Tierra Marie, Tiffany Evans, etc. They are talented girls but still missing something.

I definitely want to Anthony Hamilton. I listened to the samples on Amazon and its one of those you can play all the way through.

Rhi Rhi and her fans know she is far from the best singer but she makes HAWT songs and has swagger for days.

@Kwall John Legend does put on a great show but he just can’t seem to capture the sound of his 1st cd which I still listen to.

I recently went to an event here in Los Angeles where Solange sang. I don’t think her singing is awful it’s her stage presence, she just doesn’t have it. Her voice was rally okay a lot like her sisters but the difference is their stage presence. Bey gets out there and whips that hair back and forth and gets folks all pumped. Solange is out there doing the two step and barely moving.
