TIME Magazine: “Obama is a tolerant bigot”

What a crazy week it’s been for Barack Hussein Obama. First, TIME magazine unveils photos of him smoking a joint in college. Then the ultra liberal magazine honors Barack Hussein Obama by naming him man of the year.

And now one of TIME’s writers totally disses him by calling Obama a bigot. And the guy isn’t even moved into the White House yet.

Unfortunately this TIME magazine writer will likely lose his job for speaking the truth.

As President Elect Obama has said, this minister is not the only one speaking at the inauguration. There is another minister speaking who has a contrasting view. Does this writer somehow think that Barack agrees with both of them? Like the man has said a million times, it’s time for us to put away petty differances and come together. It’s sad that some people are not getting it and are still down with wasting time on petty bickering. Geez.

Everybody has a right to their opinion. The one thing I hate though is people comparing the percentage of African Americans who voted against the bill to a racial thing. Why do people assume black people have to be for gay rights? I really don’t get them for some people its two completely different things. For some people it is a religious thing rather than an equality thing.

Me, personally don’t care. I’d rather see two people of the same sex together happy than two people of the opposite sex miserable.

@ East point… I’m not suggesting she make this a “happy site”. Hell, she got plenty of hits before the Presidential Campaign and will get plenty in spite of her view of POTUS.

We used to get ALL kinds of news and gossip on a wider variety of subjects. Since the hate and crushes have increased, her coverage is 70% the same topics with some miscellaneious thrown in here and there.

The issue w/ Barack is that it’s usually very slanted or a down right lie. As Bird stated, this isn’t the only minister speaking at inauguration and Obama does oppose guns, the photoshoped Xmas cards, etc, etc, etc.

I’m so sick of gays all of a sudden jumping on this “I hate Obama” band wagon. How dare he chastise Obama for his choice to have Rev. Warren give the prayer for HIS inauguration? Since when did America become the “please all” capitol of the world? Obama doesn’t believe in the idea in gay marriage–hell, half the planet doesn’t believe in gay marriage. Sure, gays have come a long way in recent years and been afforded rights to allow them to live and thrive more freely and equally amongst the majority population, and rightfully so. But don’t think for one minute that because I, Obama, or any other straight person has to accept the concept of gay marriage–an idea that many of us are against mainly and most importantly because of religious and moral obligations.

I don’t necessarily think it’s fashionably appealing to see women covering their beautiful locks with scarves, but I would never demand that a Muslim women remove it before walking into my courtroom. I don’t particularly agree with men having multiple wives, which is a custom in many African nations, but it wouldn’t upset me if my co-worker invited his 3 wives to my cookout. I don’t necessarily agree with men giving birth either, but I was just as happy to hear–as were many people(both gay and straight)–that the baby was born healthy and everyone’s happy.

My point is, people, our President especially will do many things we don’t necessarily agree with but we can very well tolerate. But to label this man a bigot and in the same context proclaim your respect for choice is not only hypocritical, but asinine at best.

I can we accept to re-capture the respect of the world the we tear down our President before he’s even in office? That’s a question a pose the both the Left and the Right.

Well stated Jamil…and I really think Sandra has some unresolved issues and those issues come out when she writes. It’s obvious that she is a very angry woman, probably a childhood issue that she is now dealing with in adulthood. Here’s a hug
