Listen, don’t insult my intelligence. I’m an educated black female sitting in front of a computer screen just like you. I’m sorry that you can’t find reasoning in what I did, I didn’t expect you too. When you don’t follow everybody’s lead people tend to think you have some sort of problem, so they lable you with anything they can come up with. Now, Im not decent enough to have a civil conversation…so be it. Truthfully I think we both knew this conversation would take a turn for the worse eventually…you don’t agree with me, I GET IT…why can’t you? Its not about color, its not about standards, its not about earthly good and bad, I can’t help that it took 8 whole years for Obama to run for president after I registered to vote, my entire thought process has changed. Yes, If I had been new to this voting deal, and my uncle hadn’t convinced me that I should focus on things that matter to GOD and not to me (This is only referring to ME, AND MY DECISION), then yea Obama would have had my vote.This entire conversation with you is really about me not doing what YOU felt every black person in america should have done on NOV 4th, and what you consider my EXCUSE, not being a good enough explanation of why I didn’t comply. Cool. I can live with that, because its our nature to be objective but Im at peace with what I chose to do. What makes you think I want to go back and forth with somebody I will never see about something “I” did, surely you are decent and civil enough to relate to that. Its useless.

I apologize for what I said as well….I knew the minute that I wrote that, someone was going to think I was crazy or something…but you cant please everybody all the time so…. I agree that the conversation should end. This is probably the same type of on going debate that started the war between Isreal and the Haamas in the first place. I respect you for not judging me because of the decision I made.

I was gonna work w/ you had you said you didnt vote at all but you voted for Gore and Kerry but want to take Obama to the bible and it bothers me when we as a ppl want to hold our own to a higher standards.

Damn why black people always gotta play the race card huh? I wish Gore and Kerry were black so you would pay more attention to what the hell Im saying! I don’t care about what color HE IS…infact I consider the man BIRACIAL. I based my decision soley on the way he carries himself, his up bringing, and statements that he made concerning religion. I think about these things differently now, Im not just an 18 year old registered to vote like half of the kids who got Obama in office anymore, I’m older and I base my decisions on what I believe and whats important to me, so I followed my gut. And yes you are right, what you said DID strike a nerve, because I know that I need to improve, I would like to be someone who is both Heavenly minded and Earthly good one day. Yes, my spirit was convicted about not doing everything as I should and still wanting to be considered a Christian. I may not be the best example but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to be. Those thoughts however had nothing to do with why I decided NOT to vote for Obama, I feel like I did the right thing, and to me that was a step towards MY earthly good. Don’t WORK WITH ME on anything, its not your concern to do so and that would be a waste of your time and mine. Why would I need you to “work with me”, thats silly, Im a grown aZZ woman.
