I saw a screening of this last night in LA, and I have to say, it wasn’t bad.
It wasn’t amazing, but it’s actually alot better than I thought it’d be…
I was pleasantly surprised.
Everyone did a pretty decent job w/the acting as well. Angela Bassett was great, as usual, along with Derek Luke not delivering an impression of Puffy, but rather choosing to relay his spirit & sentiment in a way that took you back to the Puffy we all knew & loved in that time period. Naturi Naughton, who played Lil Kim, also did her thing as a newcomer. Go check it out.

@Elove, no I’m not associated w/the film in any way, just one who got a chance to catch a screening, followed by a great Q&A with Derek Luke, Naturi Naughton, the writer and director, when the opportunity presented itself. : )
