Rocko Pleads ‘No Contest’ To Assaulting Female

Rapper Rodney Hill Jr., aka Rocko, pleaded “no contest” today to assaulting an aggressive female who tried to force her way into his VIP booth at a local nightclub in 2007. (LINK)

The woman had accused Rocko of slugging her in the face and pulling her hair, but Rocko has always denied ever hitting the woman. She sustained a black eye in the assault.

“No contest” means the defendant neither admits nor denies the charges. It has the same immediate effect as a guilty plea.

Rocko will spend 48 hours behind bars and upon his release, must begin serving 12 months probation and complete community service.

An “aggressive female”…I like how you have to use adjectives to negatively describe the women. It seems as though you’re trying to defend a convicted women beater who happens to be Monica’s man. That wouldn’t be a far stretch, now would it?

If I were a man who was charged with assaulting a women, there is no way in hell I would plead guilty or no contest if I was innocent. Stop defending a thug punk, Sandra. You did several post about them a couple months ago. You might want to forward those post Monica. You wouldn’t want her become an “aggressive female” and then Rocko will have to plead no contest to assualt charges against a women again.

Female is such a derogatory term. As my friend pointed out, it can apply to any animal. He didn’t hit a cat, dog, mouse, lion, tiger, bear, oh my. He hit a WOMAN and unless she cold clocked him first he had no right to lay hands on her. Isn’t he the man in the A? @Daisy if I was innocent, I would plead “Not Guilty”. No Contest aka Nolo Contendre is pretty much a guilty plea but is looked at as neither guilty or not guilty and can be considered a get out of jail free card. You can only file Nolo once depending on your circumstance.

So to answer your question, why would anybody plea “No Contest” unless they feel like that shit is not going to work out for them and they rather getaway with a slap on a wrist. If I ain’t touch the woman you better believe I am pleaing “NOT GUILTY” especially a woman because that would make look like a loser, so I definitely would want to clear my name completely. Especially if I got make it rain money

I was there that night and I saw the whole thing. Rocko did not hit this overly aggressive woman, who was obviously upset that her overly exposed cleavage and massive amounts of weave was not appealing to Rocko, who was very humble and accessible to his fans that wasn’t trying to hang on him like his jewelry. I did see him poor a drink on her only AFTER her attempts to pour her drink on him were unsuccessful. This is a simple case of a disgruntle groupie.

I might have tried to think for a hot second that he didn’t do it if it wasn’t for the fact that he plead no contest. In this type of case that is a guilty plea. Not to mention the fact that the woman is alive. It’s not like they had to complile DNA and what not. She saw who hit her.

I am not a fan of Rocko. Is he a rapper, actor? I only know he has two kids with Monica and has not married her yet. In his defense I am wondering if he has things/projects that will make it difficult for many court dates (we know how lawyers like to postpone things) that may over lap any money making out of state events, thus finding it easier to plead “no contest”.
