Where in this video does Keyshia Cole diss her former lover Young Jeezy?

I didn’t hear Keyshia dissing Jeezy in this video, but then again, I’m not messy like some people. Weren’t Jeezy and Keyshia partying together just last week at the Velvet Room like they were a couple on the low?

See, we can’t talk about the positive — which was that they partied together. We always have to focus on the negative. Uhm hm hm… my people we must do better in the ’09.

Even if they are on speaking terms she should not be shouting his name out giving him her positive energy. This is the same man who not even a year ago went on record and tried to make her come off as a jumpoff who got so involved she asked him to marry her.

And for the record, I think Key Co isn’t screaming I need a man. I think Jeezy hurt her and its obvious she is trying to take the high road but she is human and vulnerable too. The few episodes of the show that I did catch, she def mentioned her EX. How would yall feel and act if yall were dating someone in the public eye and it didn’t work and yall stills aw each other? Would you work at being amicable? I think that’s what she is doing. I salute her for it – very MATURE Key Co!

@ keely — if he is going to lie and cheat, then she don’t need him IMO. I liked them together cause it seemed like they were for each other — BUT from the net it seemed like he had KeyCo running round the A catching him cheating and then there is the whole who proposed to who fiasco. IDK … I want some happy, healthy relationships for all ladies out there. Know your own worth, learn from the past and move FORWARD.

@ shunda – me either, I know for fact that I get along w/ almost all of them. In fact a couple are my besties. But the 1 that has hurt me the most – well right now he is deleted. I know the # by heart, but not contact is the way to go for now. In a few years maybe we can be friends, but right now its going to take some time. I have forgiven but I still feel hurt when I think about his actions. I mean does anyone that post on here really know what went on w/ Key Co and Jeezy? Idk the full story

I think keyshia cared for jeezy and maybe he has seen what he was missing, so i wish them the best, sometimes you have to let them go. and nobody really knows what jeezy was doing no more than they own men. we so quick to say some about the next relationship when ours is about to crumble.

@shunda I have nothing against me ex’s either, when we see each other we speak and they ask about my family and vice versa. I don’t hold grudges that stuff will make you sick and then i think that life changes whether you agree or not.

@too I agree we don’t know the full story and I am very single as I just said. My comments were based off the fact that some women love to be sad and blue over some no good knee grow when they knew he wasn’t any good in the 1st place. That drives me BATTY! Now if you get with a good decent brother (one who presents himself that way I should say) and they do you wrong I feel your pain and what have you. May not be right but thats just how I am. Different strokes for different folks. I will say I love me some K Cole musically though. I hope she finds her a real man that will treat her right.

Get over it Key Key. It’s not always easy to find The One, but if you waste your energy on The UnOne you won’t be open for The Real One. My coworkers told me that after I had spent THREE YEARS in a jump off situation. I was like, “he ain’t blocking me. I still date.” In the end they were right. I finally stopped seeing that man that thought I was unworthy to settle down for and less than a year later The One came along.

@Missmiami…I think Keyshia was fronting when she said that to save face…I think jeezy actually broke it off with her and from what sandra was saying last year (about jeezy’s long time gf) and etc. it seemed as if they were never TOTALLY official..

A friend of mine use to work close to Jeezy while he and Keisha were together. He always said that “bitch is crazy”…didn’t mean to call her a B, but those were his exact words!! KC is human just like the rest of us. Her shout out was as oure and simple as your ex bumping into a good friend or family member and sending a special: Tell such & such I said what’s up. I am friends with my ex boyfriends and I try to be friends with my ex-husband but that nword keeps messing up with his child support lol. I also have 2 true girlfriends. I think it is good to have your own set of friends that way when he goes out for guys night you can have girls night.

@Shania I am sure you friends can only go by what you are telling them and if you are telling them that means you want their 2cents otherwise if you feel they wanted to see you sad and blue you wouldn’t tell them. Again I could be wrong. As the saying goes if you like it I love it!

Let’s put it this way. I have 2 that I will call in the middle of the night, cry on their shoulder let them cry on mine. I am at all of there kids events etc. I have about a dozen female friends but not close like these two. I also have a lot of guy friends. It helps to have a guy that will tell you when an n-word is up to no good.

That’s me. As much as I talk on these blogs I am a listener who just tries to support rather than solve my friends problems. I would not accept the advice of a friend or ex when it comes to my relationship. Only we know what is best for us. I have several very close friends, but only one who I trust enough to talk about my relationship in depth with. She is also a listener as well as my Maid of Honor for my upcoming nuptials.

Can’t view the video (at work now) but from what I remember of both their stories is the Keyshia was the first person who spoke out about their relationship (In Essence I believe) saying that she was in a relationship and the man proposed to her but she turned him down because SHE wasn’t ready for that kind of commitment. I remember Jeezy being interviewed pretty much everywhere denying that she was talking about him.

Next thing you know the Vibe comes out and he is saying that she proposed to him and he turned her down saying HE wasn’t ready to take the next step and they broke up. Everyone took his interview and ran with it saying he threw Keyshia under the bus and he was saying she came out with the story, I just clarified what happened because yall were telling it wrong.

Keyshia Cole stopped by the Angie Martinez show recently and actually discussed the Jeezy RELATIONSHIP. I like how Angie let Flex in on the interview so he could ask all the personal questions :-). When asked how she felt about Young Jeezy, she confirmed that she was talking about him in Essence when she revealed a man had proposed to her but she wasn’t ready.

“I just couldn’t do it. It’s weird. After this guy proposed to me, I was like, dang, this is everything a woman lives for: to be married, with a ring, to be able to represent something. But for me, it was the opposite. I was scared. When you get married, you become one; you don’t live just for yourself anymore. I’m just not ready for that. I’m not done with my goals in life. What’s the word when you just kind of fall back and let your man do the man thing? Submit? I’m all jacked up on that word. I just couldn’t submit. But I loved him. That’s the crazy thing about it.
In Jeezy’s interview with Vibe earlier this year, he downplayed his relationship with Keyshia Cole and claimed that she wanted more out of the relationship.

Keyshia asked me to marry her, bought me a ring and everything. She not gonna tell you different, I was grown enough to tell her, ‘Look baby, that isn’t what it is right now. I’m trying to get my sh*t together. I’m trying to get my money, take care of me and mine.”

To be honest, it was more what she wanted. She was cool and we had a cool friendship. The media made it out to be something crazy.
After Flex fired off a few questions about Jeezy, Keyshia revealed that she was mad at first because he lied but she also realized that he may have been a little upset about how she went about the Essence interview as well. According to her, she hasn’t spoken to him since then, but she has no hard feelings.
