I read your blog often. I would like to know why celebrities choose to date other celebrities? I don’t understand why they won’t take the time out to meet a ’round the way girl such as myself. I work everyday; I have a degree, my own car and house, just like Ne-Yo said. They make these songs talking about us, but instead go get something already known to the industry. She’s a cute girl, but this is some unintentional comedy (the actual letter) to start the week.
She looks like Michelle Williams in one pic (hat on), but luckily not in the rest. That’s a nifty application too (Rock You).

Those relationships are called ‘power moves’, or ‘career enhancements’. What ever happened to women wanting to date and marry regular guys? Dr’s and Lawyers, business men, politicians, blue collar, school teacher, preacher etc…SHOUT OUT TO THE REGULAR GUYS!
I wonder if Michelle Obama ever desired to date a celebrity, or Rosa Parks ever desired to date a celebrity, or Betty Shabazz, or any other woman of character and substance. Maybe not, maybe they were just content to be with someone who could be a protector, provider, and had a genuine drive to succeed.

@Read I am all about the reg. guys. My daddy was a blue collar worker and my mama has never wanted for anything a day in her life. She also never had to worry about him cheating and carrying on either. I guess thats why im still single I want a man like my daddy and im not sure they make em like that anymore *sigh*

Dyzhire, you look decent, but you sound a bit shallow/superficial. Tons of women have their own house, car, and side joints, but that does not entitle you to a celeb, why not just a good man? A lot of celebs aren’t good men. Is the celeb considered a reward for your being responsible/productive in life as you should be?

LMAO!!! Okay, I don’t want to be mean. But I will be honest (and attempt to be kind). I do have some questions:
1) Why spell DESIRE, DYZHIRE? Is there a reason for that? Could it be that such reckless disregard for the English lexicon and spelling rules to be “cute” could be a turn off? Dyzhire is not a model’s name. It is a skrippa’s.
2) You have a child. It is difficult enough for average men to embrace a single mom with a child or children, why would a celebrity be any easier? I am not saying this is right. I am just saying that the reality is grim given your circumstances.
3) You have a lovely physique. There is no question about that, but there are tons of models doing the same thing you do with a portfolio and their own stacks. They are not starting out like you. Why would a celeb or high level professional go after you if they can find a Gloria Velez, Esther, Buffie, Vida or h*e of the month with their own money?
4) You show too much. Your body and pretty face will not get you far. You might get sprayed on, but you won’t get wifed. You have to network and make power moves.
5) Like others said, just having your car, education and home are good but those are what you should have anyway. Sure, you beat the chickenheads and scaliwags on the streets, but to take it to another level, you have to use that education you earned to make power moves.
6) Lastly, don’t hold your breath. Please don’t. Find someone who loves and respects you. He might be a celeb, he might be a mechanic. You can build wealth together. No man wants a sponge. He wants a lady to hold him down. You sucking up all his vast or meager resources is not a good look. He will find a mistress or another chick to cheat on you with who had all her own and then some who knows how to use her resources for their greater good.
