Celebs Out & About

Beyonce’s ashy knees were the talk of the evening at the “Unforgettable Evening Benefiting the Industry Foundation” event held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel last night in Beverly Hills. Most of you know she’s not my favorite of all God’s children. But a loyal reader sent me an excerpt from Beyonce’s interview with UK Cosmopolitan magazine’s March issue. And I must say I agree with Bey for once.
In it, Bey says marriage is not as important as, say, a prom or your birthday. She wonders why women put so much emphasis on weddings because they’re “just so temporary” and “goes in a second.” I agree with Bey. I’ve always said weddings are for women. Men could care less about all that pomposity and wastefulness. All that money wasted on a lavish wedding could have been used during the marriage. The bigger the wedding, the more selfish the bride, in my opinion. Have you noticed that the couples who have the big splashy weddings rarely stay together?

Singer India Arie and lesbun news anchor Robin Roberts attended India.Arie’s album release party at Kiss & Fly in NYC last night. Both women are hawt! Lawd, I wish I was in the house last night!

Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee, the most boring couple in the universe (second only to Beyonce and Jay Z), attended the JCPenney Presents “Style Your Spring” event in NYC yesterday. Anyone notice how Kimora’s belly inflates and deflates every time we see her?

Hello All. I see Beyonce opted for a difference stance while taking pictures. She looks a little more nature but still kinda fake. Oh well. As for Djimon and Kimora, sorry Sandra, but Kimora is never boring to me and as for Djimon, that fine, charcoal piece of meat? If I were single and 20 yrs younger, he could ring my bell any day of the week. I’m just saying……peace.
Correction: that’s “natural” folks, for those who care.
My wedding is this Sunday and lord knows I wish I would have listened to my fiance and opted to go to the court house and take a nice long honeymoon instead. It’s been so much drama w/this wedding that the joy has been stolen from the moment. Nonetheless, we still have our wonderful honeymoon to look forward to.
Robin Roberts is SO cute with the short do. Much better than her traditional “anchor woman” coifs. It’s a shame she had to get cancer to find that out but glad she’s doing better.
No words for IA. No words.
Is that a cape on Bey’s back? There is too much going on with that dress.
I agree that Kimora and Djimon bores me to no end. Maybe that’s what KLS needs though. If she likes it I love it.
@missmiamaa
Congrats! I don’t know how you find time to be on here getting married this week. I didn’t have time to breathe much less hit a blog.
Early in our planning we thought about going to an island and getting married instead of spending all of the money and going through the stress but I decided I wanted my family there. OMG I wish I could go back and change that decision. For all of you ladies who are planning your wedding in the early stages or who are engaged….ELOPE or hit up an Island. It’s not worth it.

I am going to have to get this magazine because I can’t believe any woman would say this. Sandra I do have to agree with you that of the many weddings I attended vs those who chose a justice of the piece, the ppl who had a wedding either can’t stand each other can’t afford a divore or have been divored for many yrs.
Is Robin Roberts really gay or is that wishful thinking Sandra?
According to PerezHilton:
Michael Douglas’ son has just been evicted from his home in Los Angeles’ Laurel Canyon for not paying his rent.
Despite having a reported trust fund worth $80 million, the former rehaber couldn’t even pay his rent. Crack is whack!
Even more surprising, though, is what the landlord found after Cameron Douglas and his roommate fled from the property.
According to the landlord, Sky Reiss, the home was filled with drug paraphernalia!
Reiss says, “A lot of drug activity must have been going on in there.” Several items were found in the vacated home, such as “glassine envelopes and home drug-testing kits, spoons used to heat a substance over the stove and filthy syringes and mirrors covered in white powder.”
Uh oh. That sounds like he’s into some serious ****!
As for being evicted, it seems the “part-time actor and DJ” Cameron stopped paying the $4,200 monthly rent. That’s when Reiss says daddy Douglas started to pay the bills for “a couple of months. But then his payments stopped too.”
An L.A. Sheriff was forced to arrive at the home earlier this month with an eviction notice.
Reiss says that’s when “Cameron and his roommate ran out the back door, leaving Cam’s girlfriend behind to deal with it,” and him with the mess of picking up the druggie’s trash.
Shady!
“lesbun news anchor Robin Roberts”
What does that have to do with anything.. LOL
Lesbun(in Alexis Tyler voice) LOL
Wonder who Kimona’s baby gonna look like?
Speaking of weddings… Oh nevermind!
Wonder who Kimona’s baby gonna look like?

You mix dark with somewhat light and you ususally get beautiful. I don’t think her genes will dominate as they did with her first two children.

If you don’t give kids rules, love and disapline and only provide money, money and more money why do parents get so surprised at the kids behavior?
Kimora must be trying ot get JC Penney carry her BabyPhat clothing line or something…
Bey looks cute … loving the makeup this go round.

India’s makeup looks like she was a victim of a driveby blush brush.
I like Djimon and Kimora, he’s doing something right to tone her down.
Sandra, I must say you wear hate well…Nobody does it like you boo!!!

I beg to differ Anna. That’s not always true. What a big misconception, and as for the wedding, I totally agree. Future Brides go to the court house, or elope because if I had to do it all over agian. I would have listen to hubbie and hit the court house!!!!
@ KaraZ u are too funny.. I cant!!! you got me dying over here.. any hoot.. Bey and kimore looks good..
@ cutiechica – you tell ‘em!!!!
I went to the courthouse and then I went to the Poconos for my Honeymoon it was wonderful and we had the dough to have even more fun on he honeymoon. However the day I got hitched is still a very important day to me anyway. My birthday & prom (I went to 5 proms) not so much.
Beyonce must have thought everyone forgot about ETTA with all the CB and Rihanna talk. Is it me or do her nails look overdue for a mani? I still think she’s phony. Sorry
Not feeling Bs dress but she does look cute. She dresses so old fashioned to me when it comes to her choice of dresses and gowns to me.
As far as weddings go I have never wanted a big wedding. I have always wanted to run off to some Island me and my man and less than 20 ppl and call it a day!
Oh I have always loved me some Kimmora even when she is over the top as I believe that is truly her. I hope she finally gets a son this go round.
Ki-Ki and Djimon look happy together. Beyonce looks cute.

Congrads, Girl you doing the right thing. I was watching “who wedding is it anyway” and one of the brides, chic outta Baltimore’s finace said the same thing about the courthouse, the girls reply was”courthouse weddings are doomed” LOL
ooooooh…i hate to say it but my husband was right! glad he doesn’t come to this blog and doesn’t know my screen name. we’ve been married 10 years and i regret to this day all the stress and headache it took to plan our huge wedding. he suggested several times that we just hop on a plane and go to an island – just me, him and the preacher on the beach…but noooo, i just had to have a wedding.
You comin’ out Sandra, FINALLY? Maybe if you got yourself some poonani, you wouldn’t be so hateful. God help your woman, though. I read your blog like I look at a car wreck. It’s sad and riveting. Try to use your power for good, whydoncha? Or emigrate to a place that is more to your liking.
