Taraji P. Henson literally glowed on the red carpet at the 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards Pre-Show Gala held Wednesday night. I heard a rumor on the Wendy Williams Show that Taraji is dating Lakers player Lamar Odom. Even though Wendy is a very credible source, I still don’t believe that for one second. Every time we see Taraji out, she’s with her girl Sanaa or she’s alone. What straight man would allow a sexy woman like Taraji to step out night after night with another women or by herself?

Ok did Taraji leave from the NAACP awards and go str8 to Tichina’s bday party (looks like the same dress and shoes from the earlier bday post???) Either way she looks good (the hair is a little “wild”) but still a good overall look.

Ashantis head is a mess! My gfriend surely thinks Taraiji is ugly and old looking. She thinks she looks like a bug. I think she is cute. She can look a little older at times.

My sister would sneak out when no one was there just to check the mailbox! lol Thats how desperate she was just to get outside. But I understand why my grandma felt like that, its for the best.

@Avanti, what’s the reasoning in keeping a new mother indoors? It’s the babies that should remain secluded, the mom has to live her life.
It’s good to get out at that time if you’re not recuperating from a c section; besides staying cooped up makes one more vulnerable to post partum depression and doesn’t help with dropping the baby lbs.
As far as Nadya, what money does she have for games? She better only be buying groceries right now.

Taraji’s hair looks roller wrappish w/spiral curls, is that the best she could come up with? And she should wear some spanx, all those wrinkles aren’t stylish.

**** there has always been a saying that the baby can go out but the mom should stayin soon after giving birth, probably due to what you body has just went thru physically and it takes it a while to return to normal…i know someone who didn’t listen to the rest for 6 weeks speech and she ended up having a slight stroke which is what they call a “setback”
Ashanti didn’t always miss the mark. She only missed the mark this time with her hair.
Yes my grandma says your body needs time to heal after giving birth and you are all open and need to rest and stay in til your body has time to recoup.

avanti i thought i was the only person in the whole world who’s grandma and mom did that . when my oldest sister had her first baby my mom almost killed her because she was taking the baby out too early.

I don’t have children but I have heard that your body must rest at least a month. You can go the doc appoints and things of that nature, but to be out and about is detrimental to your health. I know a young girl that ended up back in the hosptial because she was out to soon. A young girl in my city died because she was out and about too soon; granted she was in the club and that is when she fell ill and later passed ,but she was out nonetheless. When I decide to have children and I give birth any other time than the summer (I am a teacher so I am off dor summers) I am taking 12 weeks. My grandma and momma don’t play that!!
Everyone (real celebrities) look nice. Ashanti needs to rethink her decision on wearing that wig and I think Brandy should do voiceovers and movies. Love Love Love Taraji!!!!!!!

I have 3 kids and my grandmother and mother was serious about me staying in the house for a month! I was about to loose my mind. I’m sure I drove my husband insane.
Speaking of staying in the house for a month…didn’t that walking incubator just deliver 8 babies and she’s out shopping for a damn video? I read in the AJC that she has a website asking for donations and for folks to leave a comment on the site as well. Well, i’m sure she’s got some nasty messages. This story just sickens me.

I like comfort in general. Taraji is in the ‘spot light/limelight and needs to step it up a notch. I do also love the color of the dress on her.
