Dwyane Wade Sues Wife, Attorneys
According to online reports, NBA star Dwyane Wade is suing his estranged wife and her attorneys for claiming he gave her a sexually transmitted disease.
Dwyane Wade sued his estranged wife and two of her lawyers Wednesday over accusations the Miami Heat star contracted a sexually transmitted disease through an extramarital affair.
In the lawsuit, a copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press, Wade is seeking at least $50,000 in damages from each defendant.
Siohvaughn Wade said last month the player infected her with an unspecified disease in 2007. Weeks later, she withdrew the claim from the court hearing the divorce case for unknown reasons.
“It has been difficult to see false allegations, rumors and gossip repeatedly discussed in public about my personal life,” Dwyane Wade said in a statement released to the AP. “I had no other choice but to file this action in order to clear my name.”
Wade declined further comment.
A recent story in The Palm Beach Post, based on comments made by a former business partner of Dwyane Wade — a person who’s filed suit against him, alleging breach of contract in a failed restaurant deal — said Wade used a rented Miami apartment for sex parties and smoked marijuana.
Dwyane and Siohvaughn Wade began dating as teens and continued their relationship through college. He starred at Marquette, leading his team to the Final Four before being drafted with the No. 5 overall pick in 2003 by Miami.
The couple married in 2002 and have two children, the older of whom was born three months before the wedding. Their second son was born in 2007.

if she was smart she wouldve kept quiet from the get go whether he gave it to her or not! im sure he’s playin an enormous grip for support of his kids PLUS her. ungreatful chix who laying around from support from famous babydaddy’s make me sick..i.e. 50 cent babymama too! sit back and collect the checks dumb azz!

If she lied on him, then he does need to sue… then again even if she did have an STD, how can she prove he gave it to her, for all you know she was dipping out and got it from somewhere.
I’d really hope that someone like DWade would conduct STD testing before laying with any broad, they have those home kits don’t they? like the Hip Hop Mogul character in Erica Kennedy’s Bling.

I told my fiance about this and he said, “His baby mama got money?” I didn’t even think about that part. I said, “Well yeah, his money.” I don’t think it’s about the money though. I bet Gabby was like, “What the hell is up with this STD ish? Do I need to go to the doctor?” I know I would have asked. So he’s like, let me clear this up so I ain’t got to be explainin’ ish to these chicks.
She should have never stated that, before you do something like that you have to sit down and at least think about all the possible outcomes.
I cannot say I would want a relationship with a professional athelete it’s too much pressure;the family, the groupies and the press.
