Hip Hop Presidential
I spotted this vibrant artwork on Gawker.com. It’s supposed to depict POTUS Barack Obama standing regally with arms folded across his puffed out chest, while Hip Hop stars gesticulate behind him.
I see Jay Z and Jeezy on the right. But the two figures on the left resembles Bobby Brown and comedian Eddie Griffin.
The artist loses points for putting pink lipstick on Obama. Maybe that’s a subtle reference to Obama’s “lipstick on a pig” remark that he made during the hotly contested presidential campaign last year? I’m just guessing.
