Michelle Obama Covers Vogue

Michelle Obama Covers the March 2009 issue of U.S. Vogue. She follows in the footsteps of previous First ladies who graced the cover of Vogue.

I hope this issue sells well for Vogue or this might be the last Vogue to feature a First Lady on its cover.

Correction only one other first lady graced the cover and that was Hilary Clinton. What I wish people would try and understand is that she is an average black mom who is not trying to come with the fake nails, fake hair and such. She is just a n all natural woman and if she went on the cover with diamons and shyt on would we not comment on the economy and she shouldn’t be looking like that. Personally, I think she is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

For the record, the number of black women who have graced the cover of Vogue magazine since it’s beginning in 1892, 3: Halle, Oprah and surprise, surprise, Jennifer Hudson. And while we’re talking about front covers, did you all know that Tyra is the first and I believe only black model to EVER appear on the cover of the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated. And to think, professional sports is dominated by black men. Childddddddddddddddd, only in America, only in America. Peace.

As for the cover I hate it, I think she’s a beautiful woman but this picture does her no justice at all and anyone saying it does is lying through their teeth.

I ended up watching E with Tyra on it. I liked Tryra in her beginning years I don’t care for her much now. She was a bad chick but she let it go to her head.

She has taken better pictures for black magazines then this one. I will be buying it, but I dont like the picture. Maybe they should have let a black photographer do this picutre. Anne Leibokvitz (photographer) didnt do a good job on this.
