No More Milk For Chris Brown; Radio Station PD Pulls His Music
When it rains, it pours — milk, that is. The good folks over at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the ad agency responsible for the “Got Milk” ad campaign, have seen fit to snatch another endorsement from woman beater Chris Brown.
This makes the second major endorsement lost by the “Run IT” singer since news broke that he punched, kicked and bit singer Rihanna into submission and put her in the hospital.
And if that’s not bad enough, a Cleveland radio station PD pulled all of Chris Brown’s music from it’s play List. Java Joel, evening personality for Cleveland’s Hit Music Channel 96.5 KISS FM, took calls from angry listeners demanding to know why the station was continuing to play Brown’s music.
Program Director Bo Matthews of KISS FM said:
“His listeners have strong feelings about these unfortunate events, and he made the decision to take the Chris Brown songs OFF the radio while he is on the air. I then made the decision to rid the whole station of Chris Brown songs while this plays out. We are fans of Chris Brown’s music, and this is not something that will last forever. But it appears that Chris has made some poor choices, we are following the lead of our listeners, and we will not be supporting Chris Brown on 96.5 Kiss FM in Cleveland until the alleged situation gets resolved.” [LINK}

Yeah, its been wierd hearing his songs since this all happened. I just keep saying “Damn Chris, WTF” the whole time. You know how many plays he gets, this hurts other artists as well T-Pain, Jordin Sparks, etc.

Woman Beater….shouldn’t we wait to actually find out what happened before we label this young man a “woman beater”? This is a sad situation no matter how it plays out, but without actually knowing the facts of the case, I think it’s a little premature to put such a harsh label on him!

I am glad to see the big boys giving Chris a little whippin of his own. The allegations against Chris are VERY strong. We know some of the facts already based on media reports. Rihanna, who is credible, caught a beat down and she identified Chris as her attacker – enough said.

I don’t care who started what. Chris will NEVER be justified in beating a woman down in the street as if she were some sort of animal. Oh yea, he needs the radio stations and endorsements much more than they need him.

If Rhi releases a statement saying, she was the victim and Chris does the same, what then? If you choose to believe either one, you would still have to form an opinion based off of a story that you DID NOT see.

But I would like to say Mr. Phelps did have some endorsements pulled and Mr. Bryant admitted to having unconsenual sex with chic after the trial and Los Angeles still praise him like he is basketballs god. I just hope Ri is okay and Chris gets help.
