When Beyoncé (above) popped into Patricia Field’s Bowery boutique where The Post snapped her emerging from a shopping visit the other day, she wasn’t shy about throwing some real money around, recession or not. Our source reports that “she spent $11,000 in just 20 minutes.” Mrs. Jay-Z made sure to pick up the essential evening wear including “a black, diamond-studded bra.”

no comment. but i received in the mail yesterday my copy of vogue w/ beyonce on the cover. inside they have a pick of her with hugh jackman rehearsing their oscar number. she doesn’t have a weave! she has a very modest, healthy looking ponytail. i shouldn’t care, but i was surprised to see it.

WHAT IS THE RELATION TO THE HEADLINE AND THIS STORY? I too hope she is not going to play Angela Davis, she is like one of my sheroes and I really don’t think that BeYAWNce can pull it off. The acting roles are rumors (for now at least.) She isn’t confirmed to be playing Angela Davis or Wonder Woman.

But

She wasn’t confirmed to sing at the innauguration until the very end. Her Daddy has a way of letting his princess get what she wants.

I’ll say this – if it’s my money, I can spend how I want. I understand there is a recession, but why limit what you can buy just because others can’t? That may sound callous, but oh well. I doubt anyone on here has stopped getting their hair or nails done or buying the occassional purse/pair of shoes just because Sally down the steet maybe cannot.

Like everyone else, I don’t see the tie-in with her buying new panties and cheating, but oh well…

Angela Davis? Really? That would be tragic. But who could play the role? I think Megan Fox would be an excellent Wonder Woman.

The special olympic joke was in bad taste but he isnt the 1st president to make a bad joke and won’t be the last.
