Celebrity Seed and New Music from Monica!
R&B Diva Monica reached out to us over the weekend with these great photos of her son Lil Rock imitating his dad Big Rock.
Mo wrote, “This is Big Rock’s face all day. Lol.”
She also sent this photo of her brother Montez, who I thought was baby Romelo at first glance. The resemblance is uncanny!
Mo wrote:
This is my brother Montez at the same age as Romelo and both their eyes are grey. Its amazing how genes jump around. Okay, I won’t bore you with family photos anymore. Lol.
And thanks to loyal reader Janie, aka Baby_J for sending in this new Monica track that leaked online over the weekend. The track is titled “Once in a Lifetime.” Don’t know who produced it or even if it’s on Mo’s upcoming album, but the track is beautiful!

Those boys are still too adorable and as such can’t neither one of them adequately mimic interesting looking Rocko. I’d kill for Monica to put out a great CD, but it hasn’t happened for me yet with her and I have two of her joints in my colleciton. I’ma need to hear everybody and they mama say it’s good before I will get it.

Tarsha was rocking some hot tops. I loved that white blouse she wore that was split down the middle. (She was showing a lot of skin this week). Her singing Rhianna was so funny. Too bad she may have lost a good man. We women always jumping to conclusions.

My family use to always call that man “taliban” *in their defense half of them don’t have a high school diploma* Naw but seriously he get’s mistaken for everything form Jewish (which i didn’t know was a race) to Pakistani(I still don’t get that one) *shrugs*

I just have one thing, and it may come off as petty but I don’t care. It’s okay to smile. We don’t have to teach our boys to snarl or snare at the camera all the time. What does he have to be mad or “mean mugging” about? I don’t know. I just see so many pics where these boys and men are just oozing “angry male” all the time. Can I see one of our boys or men HAPPY?

** I couldnt get into the makings of me, that album just didnot do it for me. After the storm had a few cuts on there but it wasnt bad and it wasnt good neither but nevertheless I bought this album NOt one of my favs….
I have Miss Thang and one other one that I was shocked to learn I had purchased. It might be the one with So Gone on it because that is my jam and might have pursuaded me to get the album which I didn’t like.
Thanks mizz…I have never owned a Monica album but I will think about downloading this one to my ipod if its any good. I did have Full Moon and I have Brandy’s latest one and I love it! She kills the rifts on “Fall”…
