Michelle Obama, Alicia Keys Visits D.C. Schools

First Lady Michelle Obama continues her official duties as the wife of the president by visiting more D.C. area schools. When is she going to leave D.C. and come visit a school or two here we wonder?

I think it was a smart idea for Michelle to let White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers tag along with her as she visited schools today (that’s right girl, don’t let her out of your sight).

Sandra leave Desiree alone. Now if it EVER comes out that she and Barack has/had an affair (which I doubt it ever will, she’s too respected and smart) I will gladly eat crow until then give a sister her props. She is a very respected business woman in Chicago.

Next on Alicia because I think she was an influence on Swiss leaving his wife.

The first lady looks niceeeee…do that Michelle! And Sandra if my children were Malia and Sasha’s age I wouldn’t be doing to much traveling either…

And I agree until Desiree comes sideways just give her props for being an intelligent, confidant, go getter who happens to be a Black Woman.

Nope Daisy I’m with you…I like the cut and the sleeves but the color is atrocious but maybe that’s the camera too.

I know Michelle’s red and black dress at the acceptance speech was not cute on television but then I saw it in a picture and I looked a lot better…

@KC I always liked the red and black dress I knew the sweater took away from the dress but seeing as how I am COLD natured I wasnt mad at her for being warm vs cute..lol

One of the things I always remember First Lady Obama (just LOVES writing that) saying when they were on the campaign trail is that she believes in giving and building the community she lives in…and we know how much “Chocolate City” NEEDS a positive influence on a consistent basis…

Also…she’s a mama with kids that she takes care of on a daily…so that means you’re not going to see her flying around the country a bunch because she’s not gonna up root those babies every five minutes…

But I’m cool with that…because with THIS First Lady…is “Quality” NOT “Quanity”!

And Auntie…stop calling that woman Barack’s “jump off”…that’s unwarranted disrespect…as the social secretary, she’s suppose to be glued to Michelle’s side (since the social calendar is overseen by the First Lady)However, you can call Ms. Rogers out ANYTIME she steps out in public looking boguish as she did before…

I’m just sayin’…

i thought that was nice she visited dc urrea schools and even more impressed it was anacostia (which is gettin revamped from trashy to classy). im sure it motivated those youngins in a special way. sandra, let her take care of home first, she cant visit every single school in the country! her and my girl a keys looked good.
