Official Statement from Ciroc

Below is Ciroc’s official response to the casting call sent out to ethnic talent agencies in search of light skinned blacks for a Ciroc promo featuring Sean Combs.

Ciroc’s statement was emailed to Sandrarose.com around 2:30 p.m. today. I apologize for the delay in posting it.

“CIROC Vodka has nothing whatsoever to do with this inappropriate and offensive casting call, which was done without the brand’s knowledge or consent. We are currently investigating how this occurred. CIROC Vodka has created a brand that defines sophisticated celebration for all consumers, and in no way condones this practice.”

We may be few but our voices carry! And our voices carried all the way to the ears of the corporate execs of Ciroc who made sure every bit of evidence of this casting call was wiped clean from the site that it was posted on. What are they hiding? If Ciroc has even one beautiful brown sista holding their vodka bottle in their commercial then our voices have made a difference. Thanks Kiana!

@ Daisy its the truth I’m scared of Karma.

Yesterday I went to Uno’s and they gave me, my (to go) lunch without me paying for it. I waited at the register (not long) & then left.

I can’t tell you how many hail mary’s I said and I’m far from religious (I believe in God. No religion just believes in God) Usually when it happens I go back & pay.

& sure enough later that night it happened again. I go to the store my son wanted something & I told him no. As a kid he went on & on. The store man not paying attn put the product in my bag as if I paid for it. I walked out with it & turned right back around. Gave him his product back & told him “you are not going to give me no bad Karma.”

I know I should’ve did it in Uno’s (walking out holding my head in shame. STILL asking God to forgive me.)
