Usher Apologizes for Calling Out Chris Brown
Usher knew he was going to end up apologizing after chastising bitch-boy Chris Brown on video — but he said what had to be said anyway.
JD shot the video during a break in a recording session at his studio Monday night with producers Johnta Austin and B. Cox as part of his “Living the Life” video series on his YouTube channel.
In the video, Usher, JD, B.Cox and Johnta dissed a photo of Christina Milian, then Usher went in on bitch-boy:
“I’m a little disappointed in this photo,” Usher said. “After the other photo? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on Jet Skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”
Yesterday, Usher’s camp released a half-hearted statement apologizing for the truth:
“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

Later that same night, the friends, who refer to themselves as Ocean’s 5, showed up at Martini Mondays night at Tongue & Groove to celebrate the birthday of Interscope’s Shawn “Tubby” Holiday. I heard Ed lover talk about this, this morning. I don’t think Usher should’ve apologized. He didn’t say anything that everyone didn’t say. I’m tired of celeb’s trying to put this holier than thou attitude front to the public.

Folks kill me. Why make statements that you will have to apologize for later? If someone stepped to me about the tape, my reply would be, “yeah, I said that ish. and what?”

What the hell is wrong with everybody, having to apologize? Since when do you have to apologize for speaking your mind? We are a nation of pu@@ies, because we need a damn apolgy for every damn thing. Today on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, they were talking about Chris Brown hasn’t apologized. To who, the American people? I’m sure he did it to the person he needed to, who the hell are we that we need an apology from that fool.

The interesting thing about all of this for me is people are apologizing left and right for their statements about the situation, Rihanna is straight up in hiding, but Chris is chilling. I agree with Usher. The fun in the sun thing was not cool. If Rihanna were out there flossing with him maybe I would have taken it better, but her hiding and him flossing was not cool.

Yea, if anybody should be apologizing, its Johnta! He was the one who started that… he was in the back making gestures and everything. That’s not fair that they are putting all the blame on Usher. All of them had a hand in it. In all reality, what Usher says was fair… How you gonna beat ya girl down like that and then be in Miami chillin’ like you ain’t done nothin’?… even though she was with him, it doesn’t look good right now. The way Chris Brown busted up Rhinna face like that…that ain’t no small thing.

I’m with you. The video was hella funny thanks to Johnta. It’s unfortunate that Usher got all the credit for it when Johnta was the clear star. Because of him I now refer to them as Ike and Tina 2.0.
