In case you missed it, here’s video from Keri Hilson’s star-studded album release party last night at Opera in Atlanta.

Keri’s album, In a Perfect World… is in stores now! Early estimates put Keri’s first week album sales at 80-90k — respectable numbers for an album with no big lead single.

Shout out to the ladies of MusicBusinessPolitics, Laura Giles and H., who organized the event! I heard you Divas did your thing again last night!

I also heard from my winner brwnsugga4you, who said she had a great time. brwnsugga4you and her guest were given VIP access to the party!

Well I am just going to say this. For someone to be in this business, it takes a lot of guts and balls. I applaud anybody that maintained and kept at it until they succeed, Keri has been around a very long time and she finally is reaping the success of her hard work.

Its easy to go to a 9 – 5, get your paycheck and move on. It is hard to persue your dream and follow through. In my time, I can’t even count the number of artists, entertainers and wanna be entreprenuers that said that was their calling but then just simply fall off.

As with anything, some will love her some will hate her.

I’m still turned off (pun intended) by her dancing though..It’s hard to be a graceful tall woman, but she is still right sexy walking or sitting.. Maybe she gets some ciara-clones to dance around her or somethin (but I’m just hating)

well i was there and freddyo got the pic of me and keri i need his site back working so i can get my pic. the party was cool and polow passed out about 50 bottles of rose to anybody who would reach for one i think that was cool. i was hopping the video had me in it lol when she came up and spoke to JD i would be in that footage anybody see it let me know
