This should put an end to all that nonsense about Barack Obama being such a great public speaker. Apparently Obama is only as great as his teleprompter — when it doesn’t get ahead of him, that is.
In typical fashion, Obama and his teleprompter are blaming each other for the screw up. Obama has yet to address the gaffe publicly, but we’re sure there was some furniture moving in the Oval office when he got back there yesterday.
Here’s what Obama’s teleprompter had to say about the mishap on it’s blog yesterday:
I cannot believe the level of incompetence I have to deal with on a daily basis. If it isn’t the cold hand of my operator, it’s Big Guy not moving his lips fast enough to keep up with my text. I can say this much: there’s no truth to the rumor that swine flu had anything to do with my scroll this morning. Would it be possible to blame President Bush for this too?

WASHINGTON — Everyone knows President Barack Obama can deliver a great speech, including the president himself, according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
The paperback version of Reid’s memoir, “The Good Fight,” is coming out May 5 with an epilogue called “The Obama Era.” Reid said he was impressed when Obama, then a first-year senator from Illinois, delivered a speech about President George W. Bush’s war policy.
Democrat Reid writes: “`That speech was phenomenal, Barack,’ I told him. And I will never forget his response. Without the barest hint of braggadocio or conceit, and with what I would describe as deep humility, he said quietly: `I have a gift, Harry.”‘
The man is a briallant speaker! Others use teleprompters as well and aren’t nearly has brillant. He does town hall meetings as well w/o the prompter. Find something else to harp on Sandra. He memorized most of his speeches anyway since he wrote most of them. Even his critics give him his props when it comes to him being a great public speaker.

The gullible truly believe that this man is such an eloquent speaker on his own! If it wasn’t for the TIC (Teleprompter in Chief), his speeches would consist of nothing but ‘uhs’, ‘ums’ and ‘above my paygrade’.
This man is such a fraud, but I can’t hate on him. A lot of people fell for it.
I think it is so funny that the teleprompter has its own blog.. Hilarious.. And I think Obama got ahead of the teleprompter!! Wow Ms. Rose… Looking for perfection are you? Maybe you are the one who thinks Obama is “The One” since he is not allowed to make mistakes..
I loved the above my pay grade answer! Like I said everybody (those before him) those to come have and will use a teleprompter that is NOT a newsflash. He writes his speeches for the most part with little help and input and delivers them brillantly. I did not fall for anything. I know a good public speaker when I see and hear one.

On topic: when he use to debate against Hil I hated when he spoke with all the ahs & uhms. It always made me feel as if Hilary was more a more confident canidate.
& were telepromters not around when GWB2 was acting president. Because goodness knows that man came across as a dumb dumb.

Sandra should work for FoxNews the way she hates Obama! aside from what disagreements or dislikes you have about the man, sometimes you just nitpic! a teleprompter come on. do we really expect him or anyone else to write these speeches in the time they do and remember them, gahlee. everyone knows he writes his own speeches. if you dont like him as President at least acknowledge the Man for his intellect!
@Ice I think he stammers when he talks at times because he is a deep thinker and is trying to process his thoughts. It bothered me at 1st but once I heard his former law Prof. explain then it made sense.

I’m with the majority. Sandra, can we get one day without an Obama post. You’re letting him consume you. Let go of some of that negative energy. Everybody and their sister, cousin’s uncle know that you could care less about him. You may have some followers but it appears that most of us are giving the man a chance. So please, please move on and report some dirt….some gossip…some inside scoop….the main reason for your fan base. I can speak for many when I say we are somewhat weary of the Obama reads. Show us some love too Sandra…dang!
