Beyonce’s manager/handler/seal trainer blasts back at TMZ
Apparently Beyonce’s manager, Mathew Knowles is furious at TMZ.com for giving fans the opportunity to hear what Beyonce really sounds like without autotunes and studio trickery. Knowles fired off an email to TMZ.com telling them to believe him — not their lying ears.

Beyonce’s dad is on the warpath against the people attacking his daughter for the supposed “board mix” audio of B singing at “The Today Show” — claiming all doubters of her ability are “idiots.”
In a fiery statement to TMZ, Mathew Knowles, who’s also Bey’s manager, says his daughter was set up. It’s one of the best statements we’ve ever gotten.
“If no one took the time to look at the biggest Inauguration in the history of America then shame on them.
If no one took the time to listen to Beyonce sing ‘America the Beautiful’ and ‘At Last’ at the Neighborhood Ball for the first dance of President Obama and the First Lady, and they question Beyonce’s vocal ability, they’ve gotta be an idiot.
At 12 years into her career, the last thing someone should be questioning is her vocal ability.
That would be like questioning if Kobe Bryant could shoot a jump shot. The vocals were obviously altered.”
But that’s the point. We all heard Beyonce crowing on the inauguration and she didn’t sound much different then than she did on the Today Show.

I actually teared up at hearing Beyonce sing ‘At Last’ at the Neighborhood Ball because I thought she sounded so beautiful.
I really need to watch that video when I get home.
I agree with Daddy Knowles. Did she not sing live at the Inaugral Ball, on Oprah, did she sing on Tyra?

She did not sing live at the ball-Not hating just stating the facts. She is not my fav singer by far but she can sing though.

I guess I agree with him???? Nice looking girl, crappy songs, questionable acting skills, but at least she can sing. Which can not be said for several of today’s artist…She doesn’t just have the look, she can actually back it up. Sort of like kymmystry. She may be a size 22, and her left eye may wander, but 1 things for sure is the girls got skills on the “mic”. Major skills. She can suck a golf ball through a slurpee straw.heehee
“singing” does not come easy for Beyonce. She is not a natural talent (i.e. Mariah) … she has to work really hard at it. For that I give her credit.
Her moments of singing a complete song really good are few and far between.
There are singers who can hit specific notes but have a tough time transitioning from one chord to another … or range to another … whatever that’s called.
There are very few singers who do that consistently. Beyonce isn’t one of them.

Just as Mathew Knowles told us, the audio clip that many people believed was leaked from “Today” was indeed a fake.
In fact, TMZ found the person behind the prank who was surprised it went as far as it did, saying, “It’s a little bit crazy. No one in their right mind would sound like that, and no one would cheer for someone singing like that.”
