Is Halle Berry OK?
Oscar winning actress Halle Berry looked like she was in the neighborhood and decided to drop by the L.A. premier of “The Soloist” yesterday. If you recall, Halle was caught out there by the paps with no makeup and her wig askew on her head last week. The pics posted on X17online.com prompted rumors that Halle was back on her crack diet. Halle did nothing to dispel the rumors by showing up on the red carpet wearing flip flops.
Here’s what the Fashion Critic — who normally slobbers over Halle — had to say about her:
Have you ever seen Halle Berry look so bad? I don’t think I ever have. This is a first.
The make-up is beyond shocking, I hate those streaks in her hair, and the dress is perfect for a summer vacation, but not really red carpet material.
If you think it can’t get any worse, she is wearing flip flops on the red carpet. My number one no no, along with sunglasses.

Halle looks good in the first two pics. However, I thought the other pic of her and her daughter was a joke. Really, she looks like she is about to loose it. That goes to show that having a kid doesn’t make your problems better. So many woman think that they can solve there own emotional problems by having a child with or without a husband/significant other (i.e. brittany spears). Children require way more than they give. JMO!

BTW, is she a single mom? You never see her and the boy toy out as a family. That in itself says a lot.
I think she looks good too……and on the pic of “her” holding the baby, she just looks like a Mom with a toddler…like she just didn’t give a f*** how she was looking…
And in looking closely at the picture….the eyes look PHOTO SHOPPED! I’m really doubting that’s her now…..

@Miss Halle and Aubrey are still together. If she wanted to be married she would say I do. She is not looking for that and she has her mother and im sure nannies helping her with Nahla. I dont think she had a baby to be happy from what I recall she was happy and in love and ready for motherhood. Team Halle!

But
She is walking the damn red carpet. She deserves the feedback that she got. If she is tired & feels she has done this to the point she doesn’t have to dress the part… KEEP YA AZZ HOME or go in thru the back door. She is still in the business & she needs to play the part. You all wouldn’t go to work in ya pajama’s just because you are now comfortable in your position.

She looked worse when B.A.P.S. came out … but what’s really going on Halle, there’s “I don’t give a feck” chic and there’s this look.
Halle looks great. The picture of her and the baby is an excellent depiction of most moms on the go. I’m no Halle Berry, but I don’t dress to the nines with make-up when I go out with my child. To catch me glammed up, with child in tow, I’m usually headed somewhere special…
Ms. Berry is still #1 in glam for me!
Co sign cahjan! Everybody wears flats with those long dresses and her is not casual flowy her dress is red carpet appropriate. The fashion police will not be writing her a ticket anytime soon.

Halle Berry is diabetic I believe. I think that may account for her looking haggard at anytime. Also coupled with being the mother of a young child at over 40 years old. She doesn’t have the same energy as a 20 something year old.
when you’re a mom, your priorities and interests change, things that were once critical (such as one’s appearance being carpet ready at all times) no longer command the same energy
Halle seems to be a hands on mom who doesn’t want others to raise her child so there is going to be some natural fall off due to the readjustment of Halle’s focus
She will have to watch it if she doesn’t want to start sliding into irrelevancy
She has pretty much accomplished everything in acting anyway so if she decides to dedicate herself to momhood, who can blame her..she’s already set for life financially and in the history books as an artist

My only comment is; If Miz Berry isnt married ( which she isnt)that makes her a single mother like the rest of us! Just because she says she doesnt want to get married-ok fine- still a single mother………with a boyfriend aka babydaddy
Its called the “momma diet” for those that ACTUALLY raise they kids and dont drop them off at the babysitter every chance they get ,after you dress and chase your child around the house you dont even FEEL like looking crute!

because my celebrity status has picked up where eastpointdude’s has left off, i’m not gonna get sucked into it. who’s to say this wasn’t AFTER the screening and she’s walking towards her car and the assistant has her pumps and bag???? i need more evidence.
who’s to say she didn’t straggle in last because she is dressd so comfy, but paps being paps, took her pic? celebs can’t be on 24/7. i’ll admit, some do come out lookin the fool, but this isn’t one of those times. she just looks casually dressed on a spring night.
she’s cute n casual in the flip flop pic..as for the other, everyone gets caught on a bad day once in a while.
