“Jump Offs” The Movie

With all these professional jump offs wreaking havoc on the industry — you knew Hollywood would come calling eventually. It isn’t exactly a big budget Hollwyood production, but actor & stuntman Derrick Simmons makes his director’s debut with this romantic comedy about scandalous women and your men who love them.

The cast is made up of mostly unknown actors. I guess Kim Porter, LisaRaye, Gabrielle Union, and Alicia Keys weren’t available.

The Atlanta screening of “Jump Offs” is tomorrow, Sat, Apr 18th 12:30PM @Spaghetti Junction Urban Film Festival

I just got word Kim Porter is on her way to the ER after that stab to gut Sandra Rose just gave her.

Soon to follow will be Megan Goode after the left jab Krysi just threw.

I would be interested in seeing what this movie is all about (on dvd) low budget movies are sometimes better than blockbusters.

One of my favorites is Just another girl on the IRT.

@ Kwallace I don’t think she was with Puff when he was with Uptown. I believe he was still with Misa at that time. Misa was his “wifey” until he hit it big. Kim got with him once he became big time Puff Daddy. @ the height of it all.

I could be wrong but that’s how I remember it.

Did you know that her and Misa used to be FRIENDS, so that puts a whole new meaning to “stole somebody’s man”…more like “trifling hoe stole her home girl’s man”….and yes Sarah brought Karma right back around to her azz. A jump off is determined by their motives not who dey fukk…..I could see if Kim had a fukking HOBBY what does the bytch do……shyt Kimora married one of the wealthiest men in the biz, as a model….now she balling own her own. @ Daisy I can believe they knew each other back then but I don’t believe they were a couple until after he started Bad Boy. If you remember Misa was even in the videos with him. Justin was just a baby when Biggie dropped.

yo dont sleep on the str8 to dvd joints. there’s this movie called CIVIL BRAND, starring LISARAYE. that was her best work and a GREAT EFFIN MOVIE, no lie.

it’s about a female prison and all the abuse and whatnot going on. LIsaraye, dabrat, monica calhoun, mos def, lark voorhies, clifton powell and m’bushe wright. great great movie. i’ve never seen lisaraye act this good in anything. check it out.

i’m sure vivica gets a bigger chunk of the money when theyre str8 to dvd. again, she did movtives, great movie…she also did COVER w/Leon and Paul Jai Parker. GREAT GREAT MOVIE. do not sleep on these joints all cuz they ddn’t make it to the theaters first. that’s y i love indie films.
