It was a classy affair with most of Atlanta’s elite turning out to pop bottles and celebrate with Akon. New Couple Alert?
I have no comment on what’s occurring between socialite/actress LisaRaye and music mogul DeVyne Stephens in these pics taken during Akon’s birthday bash at the Velvet Room on Sunday. I am posting these pictures so you can draw your own conclusions. By the way, DeVyne discovered Akon and owns Upfront Records and the Complex megaplex recording studio on Northside Drive where major celebs like Michael Jackson go to record their music. In others words — he ballin’ out of control — and LisaRaye would be remiss if she overlooked that fact.

Britney’s ‘stalker’ says it was all a big misunderstanding
Former American Idol hopeful Miranda Tozier-Robbins, the “fan” who was arrested for stalking singer Britney Spears, now says her arrest was all a big misunderstanding.
But before we get into that — has anyone else noticed that some celebrity stalkers seem to have a connection to American Idol? Wasn’t Paula Abdul’s stalker also an American Idol hopeful? And what does that tell you about people who desperately seek the limelight?

The 26-year-old said she is nothing more than an aspiring paparazzo. “I’m not a stalker…. What I was doing was paparazzi work preparation,” Tozier-Robbins told E!
“It was supposed to be like a ‘Paparazzi 101’ documentary type deal,” she told Billy Bush for Access Hollywood and “The Billy Bush Show.”
“When I got to the house, I was gonna do, like, you know, a perimeter walk-around … the gate kind of pushed open and I just walked in … at the moment when the bodyguard saw me … I was at a window with a camera trying get in, trying to peer, trying to see what i could get.”

I’m in the process of posting the pics from Akon’s birthday bash at Velvet Room hosted by P. Diddy on Sunday night. But I had to post this photo first to show what a true gentleman Sean Combs is. Thanks to Prince Williams of ATLPICS.net for sending this touching image of Diddy pouring champagne into the glass of Sarah Chapman, the mother of his first daughter Chance. I’m told Diddy made sure Sarah was treated like a queen that night — as well it should be.
I was also given the green light to tell you that Diddy sees his daughter Chance frequently, and Chance has met her brothers Justin, Christian and Quincy, who she adores. Sadly, Chance has not met her twin sisters yet.
Anyway, this post is about The Man Sean Combs, whose heart belongs to the singer Cassie. I’m sure he gives Cassie the world. But on Sunday night, Sarah Chapman was Diddy’s queen.

Is This Chingy’s Juwanna Man Tranny Accuser?
I received the following email from a loyal reader who alleges that the tranny in this video is the same one who called the radio station claiming to be Chingy’s private dancer:
Look at this video from last year of this scripted “drama” and you see she was on Tyra too. TV talk shows, radio shows and internet. This tranny gets around and will obviously use anyone’s rep to do it. I’m no fan of Chingy but this person saw an opportunity to plug her stuff and took it.

I’m not co-signing the email, I’m posting it to show how far certain trannies will go for attention. But I guess they are no different from video whores who inject their butts for attention from rappers.
Email faulting Obama for ‘not acting more aggressively’ on rescue, is bogus
A widely circulated email bashing Barack Obama — part of which was quoted by some in the media — is most likely bogus.
The email, allegedly authored by a retired Rear Adm. named Lou Sarosdy, begins, “Having spoken to some SEAL pals here in Virginia Beach yesterday and asking why this thing dragged out for four days, I got the following…”

It goes on to criticize President Barack Obama for not authorizing the military to act more aggressively during the stand-off, which ended with snipers killing three Somali pirates. The e-mail claims that Obama rejected two proposed rescue plans and that Phillips was saved only after naval officers at the scene decided on their own to proceed.
There’s at least one problem. Sarosdy says he didn’t write it. And he doesn’t know if anything in it is true.
“I don’t know any SEALs,” said Sarosdy, 81, speaking by phone from his home in Pensacola, Fla. “I have no idea who transmitted that.” (LINK)
Meanwhile, the fourth Somali pirate, Abduhl Wal-i-Musi (pictured above), is on his way to New York where he will tried for piracy on the high seas. His mother back in Somalia claims her son is only 16. But state department officials dispute her claims, saying he’s closer to 18 or 19.
Regardless, if he’s old enough to rob and steal — and possibly commit murder — he’s old enough to be tried and executed for his crimes.
Forever 21 calls Kim Kardashian fat — and she is not happy
Socialite and TV personality Kim Kardashian is normally excited to hear that she landed a major ad campaign — it means that her massive publicity budget is finally paying off. But word is, Kim K’s face cracked when she found out the ad campaign was for plus-sized women.
Forever 21 launched an ad campaign called Faith 21 which features Kim’s face next to clothing for “a curvier girl that loves fashion.” The line carries sizes ranging from XL to 2XL.
Kim K, who tweeted just last week about releasing a new workout DVD, is mortified:

Kim responded on her blog, saying: “I feel that this clipping from Us Magazine is a bit misleading, so I wanted to comment on it.
“I am a huge fan of Forever 21 and I’m very happy they have expanded their line to include a plus-size range, but I am not in that size category and this article makes it sound like I am! I am a curvy girl and I love my curves, but curvy and plus-sized are two very different things. I work really hard to maintain my curves while staying slim and healthy, so to be classed as a “fuller-figured woman” of extra large proportions is a little offensive.
