Is Halle Berry OK?
Oscar winning actress Halle Berry looked like she was in the neighborhood and decided to drop by the L.A. premier of “The Soloist” yesterday. If you recall, Halle was caught out there by the paps with no makeup and her wig askew on her head last week. The pics posted on X17online.com prompted rumors that Halle was back on her crack diet. Halle did nothing to dispel the rumors by showing up on the red carpet wearing flip flops.
Here’s what the Fashion Critic — who normally slobbers over Halle — had to say about her:
Have you ever seen Halle Berry look so bad? I don’t think I ever have. This is a first.
The make-up is beyond shocking, I hate those streaks in her hair, and the dress is perfect for a summer vacation, but not really red carpet material.
If you think it can’t get any worse, she is wearing flip flops on the red carpet. My number one no no, along with sunglasses.

Another 11-year-old Takes His Own Life After Suffering Gay Taunts At School

- The free spirit of Jaheem Herrera is evident in the family portraits in his DeKalb County apartment.
The 11-year-old enjoyed dancing and drawing, and the easy smile he flashed for the photographers was genuine, his stepfather said Monday night.
On Thursday afternoon, after returning home from Dunaire Elementary School, Jaheem quietly went into his room and hanged himself. His 10-year-old sister, Yerralis, also a fifth-grader, discovered Jaheem’s dead body.
“His sister was screaming, ‘Get him down, get him down,’” said Norman Keene, who helped raise Jaheem since the boy was two years old.
When Keene got to the room, he saw Yerralis holding her brother, trying to remove the pressure of the noose her brother had fashioned with a fabric belt.
Jaheem was bullied relentlessly, his family said. Keene said the family knew the boy was a target, but until his death they didn’t understand the scope.
“We’d ask him, ‘Jaheem, what’s wrong with you?’” Keene recalled. “He’d never tell us.”
He didn’t want his sister to tell, either. She witnessed much of the bullying, and many times rose to her brother’s defense, Keene said.
“They called him gay and a snitch,” his stepfather said. “All the time they’d call him this.”
In an interview with WSB-TV, the boy’s mother, Masika Bermudez, also said her son was being bullied at school. She said she had complained to the school.
She said she asked him about the bullying Thursday when he came home from school and he denied it. She sent him to his room to calm down. It was the last time she would see him alive. READ MORE…

Obama Defends His Amateur Decision to Release Secret CIA Documents
Days after releasing top-secret memos detailing the CIA’s efforts to force terrorists to give up information about upcoming attacks on the U.S., Barack Obama went to the spy agency’s Virginia headquarters to explain his amateurish decision and to rebuild morale among the employees.
I’m surprised they let him in the door.
What Obama did was basically hand our enemies top secret information that they can now use against us in the war against terror. “I acted primarily because of the exceptional circumstances that surrounded these memos, particularly the fact that so much of the information was public,” Obama said.
Obama further insisted that he released the documents because an upcoming court case would have exposed them anyway and most of the details are already public. But Obama is twisting the truth to his advantage like he normally does. It is highly doubtful that the CIA would have allowed the contents of those documents to be released in any courtroom — and Obama knew that.
Republican lawmakers, former CIA chiefs and many in the intelligence community have roundly criticized Obama’s actions as detrimental to national security.
Square Butts Burger King Commercial
I saw this Burger King commercial spoof of Sir Mix-a-Lot’s hit on Bill O’Reilly last night and I laughed my azz off! This is the funniest commercial I’ve seen this year! The funniest part of the segment was O’Reilly feigning unfamiliarity with rap music in general and the concept of big butts: “that’s a cigarette?” he asked.
We already know that O’Reilly listens to Hip-Hop on a consistent basis because he routinely targets rappers in his on air rants. But O’Reilly’s antics aside, this commercial is hysterical!
Chingy Denies Most Recent Tranny Rumors
Rapper Chingy responded to the tranny rumors floating around the Internets yesterday. Some random tranny called up a radio station and claimed to have sexual encounters of the anal kind with Chingy. The surprise was that the radio station put this tranny on the air as if they received conclusive evidence that the tranny was being truthful. My Inbox was flooded with emails about this ish yesterday. I ignored most of the emails, but some I could not ignore. I basically replied that I had better things to do with my time than waste it listening to some random tranny who is most likely lying about her misadventures with rappers. You can always tell they’re lying because they embellish their lies a little bit too much instead of just keeping it simple. Anyway, unless I see photo evidence of said tranny and rapper together, shim can keep it moving.

Speaking of people who’ve been accused of being on the DL, I’ve received word that Teh Gyant may have been let go from SOHH.
I haven’t read SOHH on a regular basis since it was pwned by racists and/or those same people who protest $cientology (did we ever find out who was behind that?), but I checked just now and I see his main blog there, Gyant Scoop, hasn’t been updated since 4/15. And the Atlanta blog, which I think he was in charge of as well, hasn’t been updated since that very same day.
I checked his Twitter, but I didn’t see anything on the first page about him receiving a pink slip (birthday present or otherwise), and I wasn’t about to dig any deeper. No fishsticks. I notice his profile links to a blog called Gyant Intel, but apparently it’s since been removed from Blogger. I wonder if that was a blog he’d set up after he got canned from SOHH.
If he did get fired, it would be unfortunate, since he got that blogging tattoo. He might need to holler at RapRadar.
