Rumor Control: T.I. and Tiny tying the knot?

While surfing my favorite blogs, I spotted this on Rhymeswithsnitch:

A little birdie told me… and by a little birdie, I mean I read it on Baller Alert, that T.I. might finally be ready to settle down [maybe settle down aren’t the right words, if you believe what they say about those two and their penchant for threesomes]. Anyway, snitches on BA say Tip and Tiny are getting married before Tip goes to jail May 19th and that he’s planning a bachelor party at the King of Diamonds mega strip club in Miami.

I don’t go on Balleralert.com (no particular reason why) so I don’t know where they got that info from. But I was just speaking by phone yesterday to a high level exec at Grand Hustle who told me about a “going away party” she was planning for T.I. in Miami.

At no time during the conversation did I hear the words “getting married” “bachelor party” or anything along those lines.

Now, wouldn’t the person planning the party know if that was a bachelor party or not? Also, when I asked her for a comped hotel suite with limo service (since I am planning on attending), wouldn’t she have asked me if I was comfortable attending a bachelor party?

I’m just saying.

Now Spongebob you know full darn well T.I. is a veteran of the penal system. I’m sure he knows how to jail and I know Tiny knows all the proper procedures for visits and how to smuggle in contreband. I hope they do get married. At least she’ll have the upper hand when she runs into his other female visitors and has to fight them in the parking lot.

I don’t understand this question. A jump off is a professional businesswoman whose qualifications include personal wealth assessment and wealth management. What does that have to do with marriage? You have never seen me clown anyone for not being married. Nor have you seen me advocate marriages on this blog. I personally don’t care for marriage because that piece of paper means nothing if a couple truly love each other. I hope that helps?

& Sandra while I’m not married. I can say that, that piece of paper holds weight. I deal with divorces and even after the divorce the wife, ex wife, whatever, still gets her cut up until and after he retires.

A babymomma if she is lucky, will simply get child support after its all said and done. (Until the kid is 18 or graduates college then she is cut off)

That’s why A lot of gay people want it legalized. They don’t want to be bambozzled if the shyt hits the fan.

@bk2 I thought the same thing. That made me chuckle out loud. If they are congrats if they’re not they act like they are anyway so what’s the difference. I also agree that marriage isn’t for everyone.

@Sandra marriage is more than a piece of paper IMO but men and women will get a license to drive,fish,hunt,carry a gun etc. but not a marriage license I guess the other pieces of paper are more important.

If you have children (or even if you don’t) and live in a two income home and one of you die your home is still going to require more than one income. If when your spose dies you can get his/her pension, ss, no fighting with the family over the house. It’s not all about the money it’s about security. & in this world you have to think about your security.

anybody who has kids with a man ought to get married … marriage isnt just a piece of paper, its protection. protection for the wif3e and the kids and protection for the husband. i always tell the story of the coupke that had been shacking up for 20 yrs, hes get hurt goes into a coma and ends up on life support. the woman has no say so and his momma who doesnt like the woman take over because she is his next of kin !!! she treats the woman like what she is, a visitor/friend. disrupt her life big time. his mom, didnt even ask her if she wanted to take him off life support or keep him on. his mom kept him on even though his wishes were not to be on. so if she has any since, she should marry him because hes got a living mom and other kids who will come before the baby mama in any decisions that are made.

T.I. needs to “handle his situation” (by the way, when I heard him in an interview call Tiny his “situation”…my respect for him dropped just like the Dow Jones last September)…He needs to make that legal give her that security AND respect…and quit playing…

First and foremost I do believe marriage is not for evryone and I also think it is more than just a piece of paper. For people who say that marriage is security with a man or you can decide the fate of your husband or even say so your and your kids can draw ssi checks, retirement checks or whatever kind of check you will get really didn’t listen to the vows they took before God. Marriage is testament that you and your partner make with God to commit yourself to that person and only that person till death do u part. If u need to marry a man or a woman for that fact to feel or be secure about yourself or your future then to me u are not ready to take that next step. You should feel secure with yourself and God first before u even take the big step to marriage. Even when u think you are in a secure marriage your husband can still cheat on you or do things you wouldn’t think he would do. So I suggest if u getting married don’t look at it like a piece paper go into it with love for yourself, for God mostly and for your husband. MESSAGE:-)
