And designers have these people they call their 'muse'. Which is just someone they have a hetero or homo crush on. Some truly believe in your talent and want to be the one that says 'I dressed her first'. Remember when DC was breaking out and was always wearing Tina's stuff? It's cause they couldn't afford to buy expensive stuff. The minute they made it big, everyone was throwing their designer stuff at them. And then there's always credit...
