And here I thought Obama was coming to his senses…
Remember last week I told you about Barack Hussein Obama flip flopping on releasing torture photos and reversing his decision to close Gitmo? Well, now it turns out that he did so only because he found out his own party (the Democrats) were about to flip on him.
Apparently, Obama is one of those cats who thinks everyone will fall in line and have his back no matter what ignorant decision he makes — even if that decision impacts negatively on them. That feeling of superiority in the face of failure is one of the classic hallmarks of a narcissist by the way.
The U.S. Senate today voted overwhelmingly to block funding to shut down the detainee center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, dealing another blow to one of President Obama’s signature national security issues.
In a 90-6 vote, the Senate followed in the footsteps of the House of Representatives and passed an amendment deleting $80 million in funds from a war funding bill earmarked to close the Guantanamo Bay prison.
Republicans have been raising alarm bells for weeks about the prospect of Obama’s planned Guantanamo closure.
Where will the detainees go, they’ve asked over and over. Will they be tried in the United States? And will former detainees, if cleared of the charges against them, be walking the U.S. streets?
Democrats have answered by rejecting Obama’s request for money to start the base closure. Read more…

It’s really hard to keep up with what’s going on in DC … can’t figure out what’s talk and what’s not. I think Obama is throwing stuff at a wall to see what sticks. There are a lot of dems up for re-election 2010 and can’t get too comfy.

Well let’s see what ELSE happened this week because of Obama…
Congress passed a bill…that Obama has been pushing fronm day one, which was less than six months ago…putting the kabosh on credit card companies acting like “Guido the killer pimp” trying to get his vig from unsuspecting customers…
But we’re not going to talk about THAT…
You win some…you lose some…until you get folks in Congress that’s PROGRESSIVE not only in name but in deeds…then…you win even more…

NO we don’t need to google the Obama deception. Its actually been posted on here. There just like the Bush videos after 9/11. Despite what i think of bush, i didn’t take anything from those vids as facts and ran with it. smh
