EPIC FAIL!!!

Sandra,

I am an ardent reader of your site. I go to your page twice a day! A few months ago you posted an article about Ciara (and I am paraphrasing) and how she has fallen off because she went Hollywood by firing those who helped build her career and with the influence of 50 in her life.

Her album is on track to sell a measly 75K copies in its first week? If she was going to be the next supermodel or Beyonce or whatever she is trying to be, what happened? Shouldn’t she be at like 300K? I mean Ashanti and Kelly Rowland sold 90K their first week and we KNOW that they didn’t have the budget she got for promoting her record! We liked her better when she was the girl next door with swag instead of this glamazon!! I hope Chrisette Michelle gets that #1 spot! She has real talent and deserves it!

She was on Steve Harvey the other day and her personality is ridiculously phony to me. Her laugh made me cringe. I couldnt turn it off fast enough.

yes her cd is… below par. “goodies” is way better IMO. yall should have seen those pants ciara had on in the pic sandra posted. gray ugly hammer pants… a hot mess. she knows better. not sure what made her want to change her style, but that was a big NO NO. maybe she got tired of people comparing her to aaliyah? but dag, she has fell off…. completely. poor poor child. I bet she wishes she wouldnt have fired those people now

@ topic we talked about this yesterday which is probably what sparked this “letter”.

Ciara’s album sat on the shelf while Christte CD was sold out yesterday. I don’t think 75k is horrible (in this day) but I will be shocked if she sells that much. To think that she would sell 300k first week out with those weak singles she has been dropping is crazy thinking.

If she sells less than Keri Hilson sold her first week out… smh at the slap in the face that would be.

Cici changed quickly and dramatically from when she first came out. Nothign wrong with changing your style, your music, but she’s not a singer, she’s a dancer. I use to be a big big cici fan, but i don’t recognize this chick. I wont’ be purchasing the album, i probably wouldn’t listen to it for free. I’m just genuinely disinterested in her all together

Im a big fan of her first two cds, everybody know she is NOT a singer but a dancer and for that she found her lane, she was true to her art but like LadyJ said ” bet she wishes she wouldnt have fired those people now” The same people that built her up is the same people she gonna see coming down!!

I listened to Ciara’s CD@AOL.com and it wasn’t for me. I’m 33 and I am so over that bubble gum pop music. Ms. Ciara has to understand the youngsters are not buying music anymore they are STEALING IT!

Yea she should’ve stayed in her lane instead of trying to compete with Rhianna and Beyonce…?? I mean why change anything about selling 2Mill units in singles alone, and 2-3Mill in album sales…shyt she was on her way to superstardom in my opinion by being Ci and standing out that way. Now, Im just disappointed…and the fact she was determined to drop that CD, when she knew we weren’t feeling dat shyt URKS that hell outta me. I like CiCis songs when she 1st came out and the girl can dance. Sometimes ppl try to hard to be something that they are not. I wish you the best CiCi.

I agree with everyone..it’s like she’s just rrying way to hard to do way too much.. I don’t like her anymore and I’m sad that she abandoned her old image for this one.. she looks old in the face. maybe her sales will increase once she starts touring. ciara is too much at one time. you have to succeed with one thing before you jump to another. when she is interview i am hearing 50. she uses the same exact words he does. she’ll be around for a little longer. i’m not a fan of her music, just her raunchy dancing lol
