This is one of the main reasons why I won’t be tuning in to Bravo’s Real Hot Mess of Atlanta’s 2nd season. The entire 2nd season can be summed up in two words: scripted cat fights. OK, that’s three words, but you get my drift.

Over the weekend, one of the show’s personalities, Sheree Whitfield, held a “fashion show” of sorts that was filmed by Bravo for RHOA’s upcoming 2nd season.

The show supposedly featured designs by Sheree, but since we know Sheree is not a designer, we can assume that Mychal Knight or someone else with actual talent helped her out with the designs so it would seem like she was mildly successful in that field — at least for appearance purposes on camera.

Before we go any further, I guess some of you are aware that the cast members of RHOA received a hefty raise in their paychecks this season to the tune of $168,000 each. This was due in part to the fact that the first season of RHOA trumped the other cities in the “Real Housewives” franchise. So now these chicks can floss like they are stacking a little cheez since this is probably the most loot any of them have seen in a long while. By the way, we know what cast member Dwight Eubanks spent his raise on: his new facelift was pulled so tight he could barely breathe!

So, back to the fashion show: yesterday, the AJC’s reporter Rodney Ho wrote a detailed blog about a verbal spat between Sheree’s “publicist” and an AJC photographer, who was so angered by the verbal exchange that he stormed out of the fashion show without taking any pictures.

Shortly after reading that blog, I received an email from someone associated with the show who apologized profusely to the attending journalists for the behavior of this so-called “publicist” who caused quite a messy scene that was duly captured from every angle by Bravo’s cameras.

In the lengthy email, the author went to great pains to clarify that the “publicist” had no business being in attendance at the fashion show and that he did not represent Sheree Whitfield or anyone else.

Here’s how we know that the “publicist” was planted by Bravo network to cause high drama at the fashion show, and to attract the very type of publicity that I am giving the show now: he wasn’t ejected from the premises.

Anyone who has attended a REAL industry event in Atlanta — especially one that is well-organized — knows that no guest is allowed to disrupt the event or to “make a scene” without being thrown out on his ass unless he is co-signed by someone who organized the event. And since we know that Bravo footed the bill for the fashion show — there you go.

Below are some excerpts from the email sent yesterday to all journalists, photographer’s, bloggers, etc., who covered the fashion show — and were unwittingly used as pawns in Bravo’s game. By the way, if you feel you were harassed by the fake “publicist”, but you signed that waiver that Bravo presented to you then you can’t complain about being harassed on national TV:

My Journalist Friends – I am so embarassed and please accept my sincerest apology by the manner in which a “Publicist” by the name of Jonathan Clardy misrepresented himself as Sheree Whitfield’s publicist and behaved as if he was involved with the fabulous She by Sheree fashion event last night.

I am so sorry for the way newsphotographer Hyosub was yelled at and dismissed by this Jonathan Clardy “Publicist” who claim to be Sheree Whitfield of BravoTV Network’s Real Housewives as her publicist. I am so sorry – per Sheree Whitfield- Jonathan was not authorized whatsoever to behave as if he was Sheree’s publicist and I didn’t want to cause a scene or attract any further attention to the unbelievable, embarassing and stupid craziness so I just backed off. I couldn’t reach newsphotog Hyosub in time to stop him from leaving.

This Jonathan Clardy publicist wanted to work so badly to be Sheree’s publicist, I just let him. I did not want to fight or fuss and create further confusion with a “publicist” who conveniently, whenever BravoTV or photo ops were happening, would just act as if he is the publicist in charge… Sheree Whitfield would like to set the record again, that Jonathan Clardy is not her publicist.
