I have never understood why unfunny people like Wanda Sykes and D.L. Hughley get their own tv shows. Anyway, some people took offense to Wanda’s “jokes” at a recent White House Correspondents dinner. Yawn.

I have never thought Wanda Sykes is funny. And, her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard.
She would have been hilarious if she said the jokes on H&C and Bill O’Fullashyt’s shows .. she was Funny … voice aside .. she was funny …

I don’t find her funny either to be honest.
However, its funni that ppl think she took things too far, but yet the person she’s speaking about spit nothing but hate all the time, and he’s not a comedian. Yet its okay.
I can tolerate bill o’reily, rush is just a hatemonger to me.

She certainly wasn’t funny. I saw the clip of her ‘comedy’ on the TODAY show this morning and she looked stupid.
People have double standards. If this was some white comedian who said this about a black talk show host this forum would be lit up with righteous indignation.
The President was quite hilarious though. I must admit that.
Wanda did her usual routine. She always gets crass which is why I don’t think she’s funny. It’s like she always takes the joke (any joke) a step farther than it needs to go. She’s had at least 2 TV shows which were canceled before the end of the season.
Anti-PC, I tried not to laugh but the prez was funny.

I don’t think she was funny and there were many uncomfortable moments when the audience didn’t want to laugh but did to be polite. For example the Joe Biden joke. You could see them looking around like “should I laugh because that was so inappropriate”
Did i miss somthing. I don’t see what this has to do with race. Now if wanda or a white comedian said somthing about racist about ANYBODY I’d understand, but i don’t see that. And chris took some heat during the obama campaign for some of the comedic routines he did, so i differ on that.
Seriously though…..why didn’t they get Stephen Colbert, and Jon Stewart……i hope they were busy, cuz Wanda is just not funni

Are you serious? That is so wierd! Try to delete all of your pictures except for the one that you want and confirm it twice, then clear you cache again. If that doesn’t work then it just has it out for you, lol.

@KC I cleared everything I could..lol The pic is showing on other sites just not on here so I give up for now..lol I deleted all my pics but the new one I want to show and that still didnt help. I logged out and back in I tried anything I could think of.

I like Wanda Sykes. I would give her a show before DL Hughley. Dude rode the hell outta that ‘you need jesus’ bullshyt. He should never have another show or comedy special.
A lot of comedians can’t leave the stand up on stage and act on tv shows. It’s like their routine is 24/7 or something. That’s not completely horrible as long as a great cast is there to play off that. Ask Ray Romano. His show lasted all those years because of the cast and the over the top mom/dad.
Wanda’s funny. I appreciated her more when she did the skits on Chris Rock’s HBO show.
